You had me do a good laugh 😂😂😂 I aim to appeal to many different levels of english, and metal grinding stick is way more intuitive for a foreigner to understand than a round file :P
@@Drivenbymadness you really had me laughing the whole time, in a good way. I forget what you called the desk mounted grips or something that Americans call a vice lol. The metric tape measure was funny to me as well 😂 thanks for the videos!
@@harrod19 there is nothing funny about a metric tape measure, given that out of the world's 195 countries only the USA. Liberia and Myanmar use imperial measurements (and even those often opt for metric in engineering contexts to avoid confusion with the rest of the world). The situation in Britain is somewhat complicated, but in engineering contexts they'll use metric.
My brother made me a gift and gave me one of his spoilers for my RX-8 :D It's big and it has brake light on it :D The spoiler had screws on it, so my brother drilled holes on the car's hood and then covered the screws on the spoiler with epoxy glue for metals before putting them inside the holes to fit the spoiler on the car. One of the reasons he used the epoxy glue was because the car's metal is thick/double and the screws were short, so they only went through the first part of the metal and they didn't bother the black cover under the hood. :D The spoiler fit is nice and firm on the hood and it looks really nice! :D
Hi bro, I would like to install mine but it's a clip type bracket (though it has screws to tighten up) and is aluminum made. Is that fine, what do you think?
What's the purpose of the cable? Will you have this painted soon? Silicone on the outside? Will your paint shop be able to remove this? Loctite on the nuts? Looks nice, but so many questions.
sir i think its quite a while since u made the necessary mods or the starter mods for the rx8 dont u think that there are new advancements in the market and the requirement to make a new updated list. and that dont forget u are my inspiration to rx8
"Metal grinding stick" :D
It's known as a round file in English - but I must say I'm enjoying your custom nomenclature :)
Hahaha I too was enjoying his translations 😂 really funny (no insults intended!)

@@harrod19 It's the silly things that make it special 😄

i think the last one looked better, anyway good video keep it up!
i kept the mazda speed one, this was just a demonstration of installation of a different spoiler :)
I liked the last one too. It looked better than this one.

Your RX8 looks great with this spoiler 👌🏻
Nice job and perfect explanations.
Thanks man
id get a wing with a break light, it might look cool
That would look awesome!
Good job looks good! Do you know if there are Mark's for the stock spoiler on the hatch underneath for drill points?

RX-8”s look funny with a spoiler on them, especially the stock one, technically for a spoiler to work. It needs to be as high as the roof level.
I have the mazdaspeed spoiler and think it suits the vehicle very nicely!

Silicone on the outside? Will your paint shop be able to remove this?
Loctite on the nuts?
Looks nice, but so many questions.
the cable is for additional security, it will 'hold' the spoiler if any of the bolts ever fail.
What is the point of those steel cables?
I am wondering too
I presumed was an extra safety feature to keep the spoiler from getting loose and falling down, while driving on the highway.
@@Drivenbymadness thank you for reply

Very good question. Maybe a video that i made that will come out in march will answer your question, or at lease partially.
@@Drivenbymadness glad u read my comment and replied
