    Now I understand why are called piano concertos, because are composed using doubled octaves. Thank you so much for the lesson! I love piano very much indeed.

    I never understood all these criticisms of Tchaikovsky's first piano concerto. If I can understand that one criticizes the weakness of the orchestration of Chopin's concertos (but which nevertheless remain magnificent concertos), the criticism of Tchaikovsky's pianistic writing seems to me largely unfounded. The piano sounds marvelously well, just like the orchestra, and the difficulty of performing certain passages in no way justifies underestimating this masterpiece.
