Any predictions on the setlist? It sounds like he’s going to play a lot of new stuff but that seems like a bad idea considering he hasn’t released any new material aside from one single.
Just ordered my ticket for the Iowa show. Not a big Overkill fan, but I've seen King 3 times (once with Mercyful Fate and twice as King Diamond) and he's always awesome. I wish he had a Black Metal band as support.
First of all , Myrkur is an INCREDIBLE vocalist! She should make a fine backup harmony singer for the King live !~! And hopefully will make an appearance on the new LP as well !! Secondly ~ For those waiting for Kings final show of the tour, in his home town of Dallas TX, Dec.... Unfortunately Overkill wont be there for that show 😢 But I WILL BE ! Thirdly,,, King Live at the Fillmore is one of the top 5 best metal shows ever,,, you literally picked the worst fragment to play lol.. I forgive you tho ~
Thank Lemmy he's putting Mercyful Fate down for a while and getting back to the awesome King Diamond band! Overkill always kicks ass so that's great! I saw ND open for Blind Guardian earlier this year......meh at best on those guys!
I live in Iran\Thran and i'm OverKill & King Diamond number one fan in middle east but my main Metal project is sci-fi Death Metal. i suggest metal fans to listen King Diamond with Annihilator, i mean focusing on both bands, they've much deeper look in to human soul than these charlatan psychologists & behaviorists that we see nowadays !
