Exactly. I've read his book and most of the points uzma rumi made on Al Ghazali's Aqidah are misinterpreted and misrepresented. These would never be considered as valid points in a serious debate. She grossly misrepresented his views on attributes of God implying he believed in multiplicity of or within the entity of God which a simple Google search would prove to be a wrong interpretation of his work

When Uzma Rumi quoted Faisal Warraich, Taimoor and other people who I wouldnt even waste my time on, I had known that she is by far the most vague and emotionally charged person who is an irrational person, who is trying to prove that rationality is everything and this makes her the non reliable source of pretty much anything. Taimoor's inability to get validation from some western guy is a solid proof that this lot is still trapped in that age of darkness before the renaissance which makes it hilarious. Professor of Mathematics Nuh Aydin wrote in 2012 that one the most important reasons of the decline of science in the Islamic world has been Al-Ghazali's attack of philosophers (scientists, physicists, mathematicians, logicians). The attack peaked in his book Incoherence, whose central idea of theological occasionalism implies that philosophers cannot give rational explanations to either metaphysical or physical questions. The idea caught on and nullified the critical thinking in the Islamic world.

تصوف کے "عقائد" قرآن و حدیث ہی سے ثابت ہیں۔۔۔۔۔
اور عقائد کو ہائی لائٹ اس لیے کیا کہ صوفیاء کرام کے عقائد اہل سنت و جماعت سے علیحدہ نہیں بلکہ سب کے عقائد ایک ہی ہیں پھر چاہے وہ شیخ عبدالقادر جیلانی غوث الاعظم جیسے صوفی ہوں یا پھر امام فخر الدین رازی جیسے intellectual ۔
ہاں چند معمولی فرق ہیں جو اہل سنت کے گروہوں میں پائے جاتے ہیں جنھیں اشاعرہ اور ماتریدیہ کہا جاتا ہے لیکن یہ اختلاف بڑی نوعیت کے نہیں۔۔۔۔۔
اور آپ نے معجزات وکرامات کے حوالے سے پوچھا تو ان کی تعریف وہ خلاف عادت کام ہیں جو انبیاء و اولیاء سے سرزد ہوں (اللہ عزوجل کی عطا کردہ طاقت سے) ۔۔۔۔۔۔
اس کے علاوہ آپ نے روح کے حوالے سے ایک عجیب اعتراض کیا امام غزالی پر۔۔۔۔۔
قرآن کریم میں روح کی حقیقت کو چھپایا گیا ہے اور اسے اللہ عزوجل کے امور میں سے بتایا گیا ہے
اور امام غزالی نے روح کی حقیقت جاننے کا دعویٰ نہیں کیا بلکہ انبیاء سے ملنے کا کیا (بقول آپ کے)
تو اس میں اعتراض کہاں وارد ہوتا ہے؟
اس طرح تو نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے بھی سیدنا جبریل علیہ السلام (جنھیں روح الامین کہا گیا) بار بار ملاقات کے لیے حاضر ہوتے رہے۔
(مثال کے طور پر بخاری و مسلم کی مشہور حدیث جبریل دیکھیے)
اور پھر نبی کریم رؤوف و رحیم علیہ افضل الصلاۃ والتسلیم نے بھی انبیاء کرام علیھم السلام سے معراج کی رات ملاقات فرمائی جو کثیر احادیث سے ثابت تو کیا یہاں بھی ارواح انبیاء علیہم السلام سے ملنے پر اعتراض لازم ہوسکتا ہے؟

اگر یہ کہا جائے کہ انبیاء کرام علیھم السلام تو زندہ ہیں (جو سچ ہے) تو جواب اور بھی آسان ہوگا کہ پھر تو روح سے ملنے والا اعتراض ہی ختم۔۔۔۔۔

Exactly. I've read his book and most of the points uzma rumi made on Al Ghazali's Aqidah are misinterpreted and misrepresented. These would never be considered as valid points in a serious debate. She grossly misrepresented his views on attributes of God implying he believed in multiplicity of or within the entity of God which a simple Google search would prove to be a wrong interpretation of his work

When Uzma Rumi quoted Faisal Warraich, Taimoor and other people who I wouldnt even waste my time on, I had known that she is by far the most vague and emotionally charged person who is an irrational person, who is trying to prove that rationality is everything and this makes her the non reliable source of pretty much anything.
Taimoor's inability to get validation from some western guy is a solid proof that this lot is still trapped in that age of darkness before the renaissance which makes it hilarious. The influence of Al-Ghazali's book is still debated. Professor of Arabic and Islamic Science George Saliba in 2007 argued that the decline of science in the 11th century has been overstated, pointing to continuing advances, particularly in astronomy, as late as the 14th century.
Professor of Mathematics Nuh Aydin wrote in 2012 that one the most important reasons of the decline of science in the Islamic world has been Al-Ghazali's attack of philosophers (scientists, physicists, mathematicians, logicians). The attack peaked in his book Incoherence, whose central idea of theological occasionalism implies that philosophers cannot give rational explanations to either metaphysical or physical questions. The idea caught on and nullified the critical thinking in the Islamic world.

راجہ صاحب کا یہ عمل اسی طرح ہے کہ بندہ قادیانیوں سے ختم نبوت والی آیت پہ گھنٹوں بحث کرنے کے بعد کہے کہ اس آیت کا غلط مطلب نکال کر وہ جو نتیجہ اخذ کر رہے ہیں میں اس پہ بات نہیں کروں گا۔ غزالی اس بحث سے نتیجہ نکال رہا ہے کہ معجزا کرنا اب بھی ممکن ہے اور محنت کر کے نبی کے مقام تک پہنچنا اب بھی ممکن ہے لیکن آپ کہتے ہیں کہ میں اس کے اس نظریے پہ بات ہی نہیں کروں گا۔
