Hey everyone, welcome to Everhood! I've had this game recommended to me so many times, and I'm so excited to finally play it! All I know is that it's a rhythm-based RPG with heavy inspirations from Undertale and Earthbound, and I can't wait to give it a look!

i'm happy to see big creators covering this game, but i hate how its seen as 'ut but rhythm game' when its so much more than that

The title needs to be clickable so if u use an already familiar game and add “but a rhythm game” people will click
It's like Omori being described as "undertale-like", when it doesn't even have the main central point of Undertale nor it's battle system
its just UT with an ugly artstyle, poor boring gameplay and cringe writing, that's all.

This game terrified me a few months back.
It was not what I expected and yet, I’m glad it wasn’t. The best way I could describe it was these bright vibrant neons illuminating whatever they could but not all of the details.
My husband and i played this together in our own saves, and we picked separate endings. I chose the "bad" ending and it was too hard to finish, so ive never seen it 😂 my husband took the "good ending" so ive at least gotten to see that one :')
Played this game ages ago, one of my favorite games to date, and its sequal Everhood 2 is coming soon, cant wait to see this o:
there are a couple other endings, if you're interested in them! im guessing one of them has to do with the locked box you found in the forest (idk if it ended up in this video but i remember you finding it during the stream). not sure if there are spoiler free guides out there, but i hope there are.
in a spoiler free way of putting it: talk to brown mage before killing the croc and you can access the chest
The carnival area looks really cool, but it always tricks me into thinking there's something smudged on my screen

Kind of a bummer the Eternity Edition updates are only available on console, i got excited at first thinking i had a reason to revisit the game but im on PC so i guess not. Im still looking forward to the rest of the vid and getting to watch you play it for the first time!
Can not wait for the sequel. Unfortunately I never went into this game blind, but I am definitely going to play Everhood 2 blind.

It's a refrence to a very old tumbler post that became a meme!
In context of the game, some creatures in everhood aren't actually human souls, so you don't have to kill them, which is why the 8ball countdown doesn't go down when you kill them.

the eternity edition is console exclusive? awful.
It only adds some custom battles that are only playable in freeplay, there's no additional main game content. It's still kind of a dick move though.
