    As a fun of sneakers, who has more than 60 pair of shoes, I have to say Nike is good at marketing, something like creating interesting concepts, telling stories and finding good players, but about the products, they are good, but not outstanding, especially recent couple of years, nothing impressive.

    • @cschlums2235
      @cschlums2235 2 года назад +5

      What Ive noticed, and this is based on their basketball shoes, is that they dont make their shoes to last. A lot of their outsoles are made with super soft rubber which can be burned through pretty fast over time. Their best cushioning setups like phylon and react bottom out pretty fast.

    In 2023, Anta signed Kyrie Irving so I think Kyrie will help increase Anta's brand awareness and shoe sales for the long term especially in their home country to better compete with Nike and other sports good companies

    世界上最好的采棉机器约翰迪尔是美国制造,中国是这款机器的最大客户,而新疆则是进口这种机器最多的省份。其实美国人比谁都清楚新疆的情况。
    John Deere, the best cotton picking machine in the world, is made in the United States, China is the largest customer of this machine, and Xinjiang is the province that imports the most of this machine. In fact, Americans know more about Xinjiang than anyone else.

    This video talks about the competition between Nike and a Chinese sports brand, Anta. Nike has a history edge of 30 years over Anta. They both adopt sophisticated technologies, which created massive amounts of revenue in return for both, into sports shoe making. They are evenly matched competitors. Nike is confronted with irrational boycott in China due to its decision to refusal of cotton from Xinjiang, northwestern province of China. This boycott has been hurting Nike’s revenue, approximately 20% drop in sales in China. Even worse, those once Nike fans turn to embrace Chinese homegrown brands under the influence of a swell of nationalism coming along with boycott. Anta must be over inflated to believe that it is the investment in technology, rather than the celebrities who wear its sports shoes, that makes most of its profits.

    I will ALWAYS give a try and support lesser known brands. If this brand "Anta" would be available here and the price is good i will just give it a try. You are a product of being a sheep if you constantly throw away your money just because of "brand". Don't be a sheep, always give a chance and it will truly surprise you. This is how life rewards you. Save money and find something surprisingly good.
