Yikes, any plans to test the Tactistaff? I'm eyeballing one this morning and for 100 bucks need to get a high quality multipurpose staff. Good on u for doing testing. U rock
The thread and O-ring grooves should be over machined, this happens when the extrusion tube had lower tolerance of wall thickness; this should be a single failure.
Dude this thing is incredible. There are so many different configurations. I have no issues unscrewing any of the pieces. You want them tight so they don't come apart. This dude has girly hands or something.
@robertsmith9865 this guy is a complete idiot. It's designed for a walking stick w tools, look at his backyard, he has a wooden crate just laying in his backyard? ANY hollow metal item you take and use this way would break. The only catestrophic failure is the Dolt in the video
Geez; It is machined from Aluminum! I wouldn't expect it to stand up to that much bending force; it isn't a realistic use case, anyhow! Q: What kind of "hammer" has a 4 foot handle? A: One that is MADE FOR that much bending impact. Try it with ONE section screwed to the hammer head, and pound with that instead. Ya know; like a HAMMER!
@tanextactical5813 Sure; but they are not BENDING the staff to do it. Yours was a useless grip, and the application of extraneous side load that won't help the strike, and will only damage the staff. It's just a dumb way to wield that particular assembly. I'll put my 35-year Mechanical Engineering career up against your bad hunch any day, youngster! 😉
I was proud I broke a piece of junk to make sure people don't buy it because it was falsely advertised as being able to break through cinderblocks. Get some brain cells homie.

I could be wrong, but I think the knife is meant to flex. I've seen it with some fish knives... the blade flexes.
The fact that u barely put force on the hits and it still broke, against ROTTED WOOD too😭

I was 10 seconds from ordering, thanks. What should I order instead though? I'm not paying £600 for that OG one...
I personally haven't found anything that can replace it.

Thanks for the vid I was going to get it myself now I won't looks cheap should have known as much again thanks for the vid
Appreciate your review. I ordered the Tactistaff. Just waiting too long for it to arrive !
It doesn't look practical. despite all those knives.
Yeah I’d avoid it at all cost tbh.
You know those are flimsy and cheap from the way they’re advertised! They can’t even have an actual human being talk! It’s AI!😂

Thanks saved some money 💰
Thanks for the video.
Put the hammer head as a tee handle
3 in 1 oil.
thanks for doing this video. Throw on a pair of work gloves to protect your hands
CRITICAL FAILURE
This guy is a joke, he was so proud that he broke it.
