i post this to spread awareness of this great man only who was a part of my youth growing up in the UK. I have no financial interest.
I do not own the copyright and will take down immediately if there is any problem

When I was just getting started (along with many other up and coming musicians) I had the great good fortune to befriend and play with Alexis, as well as Danny McIntosh (guitar on tracks 8 and 9) and Jim Litherland of Colosseum, who also played with Alexis. Without Alexis, we probably never would have had The Stones, Free or Cream. This music took off in Britain (and later, America) because of Alexis, Cyril, John Mayall, and Graham Bond, who I also got to play with. They made a living doing what they loved, but I don't think they get either the renown, respect or rewards they so richly deserve.

Thanks Mickleesongs for sharing your great wisdom with us all ...I used to see a lot of Blues acts in the Twisted Wheel in Manchester UK...seeing most all of the people you mentioned above playing there
