You guys rock extremely hard, from the first time I saw you at Woodford Folk Fest, each of your Brisbane shows, the most recent bushfire fundraiser you guys did at Byron, you’re the Daft Punk of the Northern Rivers- keeping the funk real and alive. Wishing you all the best and hope to see you all back out again soon once the 🦠 has passed.
I'm learning to play bass and I almost ask you on Instagram for advices. AND NOW, NOAH YOU'RE GIVING ME A TUTORIAL. I CAN'T BELIVE IT. Love u, guys 💖 cheers from Mexico
You are so underrated. This makes me feel both good and bad. Baad because you guys need recognition. Good because only a very few lucky people are the one who listen to you 😀
amazing how good this riff sounds with everything else. just goes to show how this song especially is the sum of all the instruments working together. a good song choice for this breakdown
Nice... lots of subtle little ghost notes present. By playing bass by myself for so long, ghost notes are such a habit with me as a device I use for filling in those gaps that other instruments normally fill. Great video
Yay Noah thanks for your great tutorial. You explain it and demonstrate the bass line and technique really well. I loved seeing Parcels perform in Nashville Tennessee US - an awesome show. The room loved you! I'm attempting to learn the bass part for Tiedupnow. May take me a year to learn to play it - no rush. I also have a Fender Mustang - short-scale roadworn Daphne Blue. And I used to holiday in your home town Byron Bay for 3 weeks each Christmas hols. What a magic part of the planet. XXX
Dude, buy yourself a bunch of 6" x 4" picture frames - your treasured memories deserve some prestige. I love this tune BTW. Thank you for the melodies.
Hey guys! You totally rock and I really love your music and especially the way you arrange bass lines, Noah. I would really appreciate if you could make a video where you tell about your musical approach and tell us a bit about how you get this fantastic bass sound on the mix. Thanks in advance :-)
Hi, greetings from Paraguay, hey guys now that you’re all in quarentine you guys should upload videos of your tecniches, Jules on the guitar, Pat and Louie on keyboards and Toto on the drums!! and for the next video Noah, you should record an base line tutorial, from tieduprightnow, dude you melt your fingers there, hahaha love you guys!
I’m not super sure on this exact tone but have your bass settings on full and eq in the middle with a little more bass and maybe a little less treble and then just work out what sounds good I guess
We DEFINETLY need a guitar tutorial for a song or a couple of techniques you guys use! Cheers from Argentina
Guitar up now!

You are the reason I would switch from drums to bass 😁
Don’t say that! From Anatole ;) x
Just after some advice on how to get the tone for Tieduprightnow, I have a Squier Jazz Bass and my tone sucks pine cones. Cheers for any help brother.
Oops forgot to be specific.. the "Live in New York" version was meant to be added onto that! That bass makes me moist.
I’m not super sure on this exact tone but have your bass settings on full and eq in the middle with a little more bass and maybe a little less treble and then just work out what sounds good I guess
Thanks.
