Between 1985 and 1993, Toronto and Boston combined for 8 of the 9 AL East titles. They also had 4 combined appearances against Oakland and only won one……..Rivalry between Ma-le Leafs and Bruins and even Raptors vs Celtics pretty good too. Two good sports towns but Boston more loyal.
Man I wish the Red Sox could have taken this game. Would have been a whole different feel to the series.
