This is a great saw stand, and if you’ve ever adjusted brakes on a bicycle, it will help with adjusting the cables, which loosen up quickly out of the box ! Both material holders were welded by Stevie Wonder, who couldn’t find his speed square !! Lmao. 1/4” out of square!! Other than these minor problems, I love this thing !!
*Works great. First thing I did was use it to build a stand for it **MyBest.Tools** Added 2 4X4 to both sides of it to get more surface area to hold the larger boards. Instructions are easy to read and follow to set up.*
This saw has a problem. The cable to release the stand to stand it up doesn't move far enough to the left. I am in contact with Dewalt and waiting on them to either send me a new cable or something.
Gotta love when you pay 250 bucks for something and still have to assemble it bc the factory wanted to save some money while still charging us the same amount. Plus I'm pretty sure the instructions were written by a German. Overly engineered instructions that make an easy task seem harder than it should be. If you've ever worked on anything German then you understand what I mean. Good video and thanks for sharing. Some of us learn visually and not by text.
I just put it together thanks for the video, and put over it the FLEXVOLT 120-Volt MAX Lithium-Ion Cordless Brushless 12 in. Sliding Miter Saw w/ AC Adapter, i have difficulty to pull it up or push it down not easy. not happy with it.
The instructions provided by Dewalt were almost useless. The instructions included an explosion diagram with very poor resolution. For me it was impossible to tell on the explosion diagram the details of the stand. Fortunately, there is RUclips with actual videos of the assembly.
Question; How do you review something you just put together? I've had these for years and those outfeed supports are 100% crap and everyone knows it. Thumbs down.
This video was a waste of time for me. I needed to watch someone assemble it at normal speed not at supersonic hyper speed. Step-by-step instructions would’ve been nice the sad thing is you had the basis of a video here and ruined it by shortening it at supersonic speed.
Top right of the video there's 3 dots. Click playback speed, select 0.25, turn the volume off, and use the pause as needed. If he didn't speed it up it would be a 30 min video.

Hello,
I have seen some of the Dewalt DWX726 stands had an area where you can wrap the cord around. Did yours come with that?
When you open it release it when it’s sideways it’s a lot easier
