Truly one of the greatest band on earth and what’s miraculous they started when real rock, prog rock was dead or dying and replaced by disco, misco, jisco and other … garbage.

The lovely thing is you can tell the whole band is just having the most fun doing it. The smile on Dave's face whenR Rikard does his solo says it all.
Oh Folks!!!! YOU NAILED IT!!!! My Goodness a brilliant performance and the new line up is just getting better and better, I CANNOT WAIT to see you all perform later this year. Greg, love your bass and your pedals mate, Clare, gorgeous as ever and brilliant violin, made the hairs stand up on my neck. Oskar, fabulous job on keys, Dave love your guitar and smiles to go around in abundance, Nick, cheeky as ever and what a lovely guy. Alberto what can one say, you did bloody great mate and the brass section, you add that something that few other bands have, that incredible volume just fills the air beautifully and as for Rikjard, Ill bet David would think that was definitely another face melter, YES!! Love you all folks... you really do hit the spot. xxx

considering how young the new keyboard player is, he is phenomenal. everyone is phenomenal, great synergy, playing and stage presence! and ofc shout-out to Alberto. David will be forever missed, but he surely is an amazing vocalist and performer. I definitely hope in more italian dates!

When i spoke with Nick directly after this show at that moment he did not really know what to do with all of this footage as even the Lorelei set wasn't out yet and the band wanted to concentrate on that one first (also because it was a tribute to David). But i also hope the band will get this complete show out asap. It was their 1st ever in a prog-venue where
the audience was standing up close to the stage so also for the band this gig was some new experience with no-one sitting down.... Maybe some -inbetween- official bootleg release
might be an idea to fund their upcoming tour might be a thought? ;)
@@tonyvandergaag8765 Given all of the other projects which we have in the works (and the time and cost involved in putting together a Blu-ray) we currently don't plan to release this whole show. But we may make a further song or two available in the coming months.
@@bigbigtrainband Thanks very much for your update we all will be waiting patiently! ;) On the -official bootleg- thing it is not that i was waiting for a lavish -deluxe- packaging of the full show but just the audio or dvd disc(s) in a low budget carton sleeve in order for you to generate some extra income out of this fabulous gig f.i. as a -bandcamp only project- or so. Anyway tickets for august 26th are already in the pocket! :)

This is the first time, in a long time, I have watched something on YT that captivated my attention. Never heard of this band. I clicked on it because I seemed to recall something Nick stated about that name. What a marvelous group. And Kudos to the people behind the audio/video work, as well. Superb. I need to find this somewhere. I haven't heard anything like this since the great Prog bands of the 70s. I hear a lot of YES, PFM, Gentle Giant and others in there. Classic sound made new. Fantastic.

The last few releases by BBT sounded like they were in a holding pattern to my ear and while I love and miss David Longdon and what he brought to the band, I find myself excited about continuing my musical journey with Alberto Bravin at the mic.

It sounds like Alberto is blending in beautifully, although I have yet to hear him with the more challenging songs, David was an exceptional vocalist.

I can’t wait to hear this… have just heard the snippet when Alberto posted… do you know what, you guys really do make so,e amazing music, I struggle with long bouts of depression and yes nothing other than time and learning techniques can cure me but, music really does help me and even if I just escape for a few hours with my headphones on, I can escape with you guys. Whenever you as individuals, or as a whole are having a shit day, just remember guys you made a difference to me and I’ll bet many many more people out there would agree. You guys, really are the “bees knees” I think there is a song connection pun in there somewhere … lol 😂❤❤

Beautiful music...I hope you do not mind me sharing the following, this song takes me back to 2016 and David and I visiting Nottingham Castle to view the Leonardo da Vinci: Ten Drawings from the Royal Collection...David would make frequent visits to the Castle during our time together from art college through to David's research into Captain Albert Ball...and to the work of The Florentine.
Thank you - David's exhaustive research was certainly put to brilliant musical and lyrical use.

"Never occur again"? True so far as being our first appearance at the Boerderij. But we will be back there this August. Whether we will play The Florentine at the show or not remains to be seen...

Wow! Blubbered my way through that. Beautiful song, so beautiful. BBT are unique in my view. They move me musically so much. Absolutely majestic performance. Keep going BBT!
There's no denying this band is special. I think David and Nick joining them is what made them so special. Before The Underfall Yard, they were a middling Progressive group. They were somewhat starting to find some footing with The Difference Machine but I believe Nick and David put them over the top with their songwriting and singing abilities. Just what they needed and they've never looked back, even with so many losses in recent years. I also think Rikard made a strong contribution as a multi-instrumentalist.

Great performance but I've got to heap praise on the video people - so many cameras, perfect angles, amazing editing that quickly swapped to wherever the action was. Editing must have been a mammoth task, but incredibly well done!

I was lucky enough to see BBT in Aylesbury for the first time and they were awesome. They look so relaxed here and not only has Alberto had to take on a huge task in replacing David but is having to sing these epic songs in a language not his own. He surely deserves massive credit. Can't wait to see the band in Brum later this year.
