      @@danh5637 Unless the pub was playing the vinyl (record), then you're probably remembering the radio edit. My uncle has his original record from the late 70s and it doesn't have "of the world" at the end. How could it have been removed from a physical record that my uncle kept from when he first bought it? And the funny thing is, I asked him what he remembers the final lyric being and he said "of the world." He was surprised he got it wrong as he's listened to that record numerous times. My theory is that people are conflating the studio version with live versions such as Live Aid, which is definitely Queen's most popular performance and arguably the most iconic live music event in history.

    • @danh5637
      @danh5637 Год назад

      @@spinny003 well maybe they are having mass misremembering. As for how it could have changed. That’s the theory of the Mandela effect that somehow reality is being “edited” at the quantum level. So if that’s the case it will effect the record because in this timeline it was never recorded. But yes I have a vivid memory to it saying if the world. I also have a lot of other Mandela effects too. And editing reality at a quantum level isn’t so much of a stretch for me. Apart from anything even at the atomic level. Atoms have no solidity and exist in multiple places at the same time. So with CERN playing with colliders and petiole accelerators since before I was born it’s possible that they have figured this out. In fact they produced a video some time ago in which they seemed to be toying with us and indicating they have been doing such things. Again of course it’s mostly speculation but millions upon millions of people are experiencing these phenomena. It could also be possible that at some point in the future time travel is possible and coming back creates slight splits on timelines that produce changes.But it certainly makes me think that reality is less “static” as we may assume. In fact I always thought our perception changes reality alone. So I guess I’m not so rigid about “common sense” explanations.

    So every time you heard someone make reference to the song, they'd do the dramatic, "OF THE WOOOOORRRRRRLLLLDDDD" because it sounded cooler that way and that's how people got used to singing it.

    I’m afraid to say that despite anyone’s “best” memory of the song, the STUDIO version of We Are The Champions ( that’s the one you hear on the the radio, RUclips and pretty much everywhere else ) has never ended with “of the world”. However, in the live performances of the song ( not the version of the song that most people hear ) the song includes the line just to give the ending that extra impact on the audience. Reinstating the message that Queen and their fans are the champions of the world.

    You saved my brain man. All the Mandela effect stuff can easily be explained by people making mistakes and editing. I saw a copy of Berenstain bears where it was spelled one way on the tape and another on the box. If you guys didn't see, they found the Shazam movie Sinbad denies making. Honestly I think he was lying or he forgot. I do believe in other universes, but I don't believe they're bleeding into one another. We shouldn't be able to find proof of the old memory if it's a real bleed over, it wouldn't make sense. Remembering, yes, proof, no. Not that there's a rule book for this stuff. Anyway even if it was true, like if the earth was flat, which I don't think it is, what are you or anyone else going to do about it? What good does it do anyone to spend time on that stuff? This isn't me being a dick either. If you're putting hours into this stuff how's it making life better?

    • @spinny003
      @spinny003 Год назад

      Music producers sometimes have to edit songs to fit into specified radio times. This includes removing and adding vocals because they would have access to the multi layered tracks of the song. So separating these overlapping vocals is very easy to do if they have the multi tracks, which they would've had.

    Check out Freddie Mercury Live Aid performance in 1985. He ended the song with We are the champions of the world live

  • @spinny003
    @spinny003 Год назад

    The easiest explanation for this is Live Aid. Queen had 20 minutes on stage to perform some of their biggest hits in front of 72,000 people in the Wembley audience and over 1.9 billion people watching it live on TV. Queen sang their songs in this order: Bohemian Rhapsody, Radio Gaga, Hammer To Fall, Crazy Little Thing Called Love, We Will Rock You, and then they ended with We Are The Champions. Wouldn't you know it, Freddie ended their entire show by belting the lyrics "We are the champions... of the world!" Not only was Live Aid 1985 undoubtedly Queen's most popular live performance, but arguably the greatest live performance ever. So it's no surprise that the mass public just assumes that the studio version must end the same way. Go watch any sporting event were the track is sung by the audience and they always end off with "of the world." And with the song played on the radio, some tracks were and still are cut short for time. The lyric "of the world" appears earlier in the song and radio stations were probably ending the song short, and that's another possible reason for this "Mandela Effect.

      @TheMr.CheekyYeetManChunt Scientific phenomena has nothing to do with the Mandela Effect. Actually science has absolutely nothing to do with it at all other than to let you know your memory has mistakenly been corrupted. Almost every Mandela Effect has been disproven and I believe they have even found articles that incorrectly labeled Mandela as deceased and were later retracted by the publishers due to it not being true. These articles, which is actually one article published in several different publications, were read by many people and these people did not get the retraction notice from the publishers leading the to believe that Nelson Mandela had actually died in prison when he never did. Do some research instead of making yourself look bad.

    • @lewong1602
      @lewong1602 6 лет назад

      @Kagarin? It does end this way because the song has been truncated which is a normal practice for new songs but usually not for old songs on classic stations. The reason everyone thinks it ends with of the world is because radio stations cut the song down to make room for other songs in between advertisements. It's the same reason Free Bird and Stairway to Heaven aren't more than ten minutes long when you listen to them on the radio.
