i tried all your steps in the video , but when i saved it on the desktop the created EPS file was unknown , when i click it it says :windows cant open the file, can you help me and tell me what to do ?
Thanks this was exactly what I needed. First I thought it didn't work, but then I realised inkscape puts the vector graphic in front of the bitmap, and I saved both. You kinda show that very quickly when opening the saved result in photoshop, but I missed that, and my photoshop elements 11 gives an error when opening the file, so I couldn't try that. After deleting the bitmap layer in inkscape before saving, the eps could be imported as a vector image in MS word without the ugly bitmap edges.
Great video. It worked with black and white vectors but I tried it with a colored png file and it turned it into black and white. Would you know what I can do to keep it colored and turn it into an EPS file as well?

I'm going to go ahead and flag this. Your video comes up #1 in Google search for "Photoshop PNG to Vector" and I kinda think you know your title is misleading. You need to put InkScape in the title, not Photoshop.
MrJayBusch well maybe my computer but when I tried dl it would do the countdown then nothing would happen several times. Sucks because I'd really like to try this product to avoid the headache of illustrator

Everyone moaning about the program he's using; to get a vector file you're best to use a program such as Inkscape or Adobe Illustrator anyway! Gosh.
