Vocal team leader Woozi, the blonde at the beginning playing the piano and later leading the house dance break, wrote this song. He used samples from seven of their previous big hits to create it. Since this was released with their "greatest hits" , he wanted a song that encapsulated their 9 years of work (even though most of them have been together as trainees since 2012, not debuting until May 2015). So if one listens closely and knows their discography, you can hear the seven different song samples incorporated into "Maestro". It's actually an EXCELLENT tribute to their work over the years. :)

No, this isn't really part of a larger storyline, but there is some additional context. Seventeen have produced their own music since they debuted 9 years ago. Woozi is the main producer of the group, although all the members have participated in writing lyrics or composing at some point or another. Their songs and concepts have always been stories that they want to tell at that point in their life and can often be somewhat autobiographical.
The concept of this mv is seventeen vs. AI, they're showing that they as artists can give the audience anything they want when it comes to music, without limitations. With the rise of AI recently its very topical. So I guess you could say its part of a larger story in the sense that this is a chapter in seventeen's lives that they want to talk about, but it's not tied to any big lore or fictional storyline like some groups have

As Svt have risen with success, so the budget for their mv’s has increased. The contrast between this and their debut mv budget is light years apart. Hard work and talent got them here.

Thank you for reacting to Seventeen! I'm glad you enjoyed it. Yes, Seventeen are 13 members and debuted in 2015. They are also divided into 3 units, vocal, hip hop and performance unit, which release songs too. They have lots of different styles and genres in their discography. Hoshi and the rest of the performance unit sometimes take part in choreographing.

Seventeen is under Pledis Entertainment, which was acquired by Hybe last year. However, Pledis still operates as a standalone, so Seventeen isn't actually considered a Hybe group.
