@Logic 46 My assertion was and is this, Sir Logic, that the idea of holiness, purity, and other such descriptions have more to do with the conquests of certain nations jockeying for empire then the actual words within these texts. These guidelines were written more as where people had went wrong, not as some over-hyped Hollywood church dogma. Don't be skeptical, be practical in the readings of the Texts. And to answer the question of why "God" didn't strap these to our asses being born, that free-Will comes into play . I think we agree more than where we disagree but what bible is and what people are made to believe that it is are nautical miles away from each other. Don't throw out butter because margarine doesn't taste right
