It was 1969 and we were in Edmore, Michigan working with Aunt Jane Pickle Co. We had to get up early and be ready to go on bus ride of about 75 minute to Shepard, MI to work in the fields. A friend would take his eight track player and play Little Joe and all these old songs. I was 11 yrs at that time, but to this day, still remember all these songs. I love Little Joe Y La Familia's music, best Tejano music ever. Truly a legend and trend setter.

I just read this on Wikipedia "The label sponsored a Little Joe concert in 1978 and recorded it for their Live for Schlitz album. It led to a ban on future events in the area, though the album remained a lucrative live recording for Freddie Records for two decades." Does anyone know what the ban was about?? Im confused
