» WHERE IS NEPHI FROM?
I am native to Bacolod City in the Philippines but in the recent years I have been moving and living a lot in different countries like Singapore, Japan and the US due to the nature of my work. I was in the US when I started this channel but I am currently in Indonesia thus the confusion to some where I am truly based.
» MUSICAL BACKGROUND
Former band vocalist of Akita performing at K-Pub in Ayala Cebu, Philippines (2019-2020)
Former band vocalist of Big Three Band performing in Yokohama 7, Yokohama, Japan (2014-2016).
Former member of the Filipino Voice Symphony (2010-2011) where I was taught by professional chorale singers (e.g. former soprano from UP Madrigal Singers). Our singing group bagged the "Gold Medal" in the International A cappella Championships held in Singapore in 2011.
Former university choir and singing trainer at Technological University of the Philippines Visayas.
» WHAT IS THE GREATER GOAL?
My mission is to promote music among different regions and try to make people from different countries relate to each other through music and singing. I have always believed that even small gestures in understanding similarities and differences towards others actually lead to greater awareness about countries and their people.
In this modern world full of things that divide humanity, it is but perfect to put efforts in re-uniting and building bridges among all of us.
more than 3,000 traditional dances spread throughout Indonesia. Of the 671 recorded traditional dances, 110 of them have been designated by the Ministry of Education and Culture as intangible cultural heritage. proud to be Indonesia 🇮🇩❤️

What I love the most when the video shows a compilation of Indonesian cultures is when the video shows 9 main areas of cultural representation. Yes, I mean Indonesia has many diverse cultures in each region and for me to make it easy, so I conclude that Indonesia has 9 main areas of cultural representation to representing Indonesia cultures. (I sorted them from west to east) which is Sumatera area, Java area, capital Jakarta area, Kalimantan area, Bali area, Nusa Tenggara area, Sulawesi area, Maluku area, then finally Papua area. Like in this video

you know what, There are still many more Indonesian cultures that have not been shown in this video. Indonesia is a diverse cultures country. We don't describe our country is Bali culture or Java culture or specific culture, but we all describe our country as a country full of diversity in that. Like our national motto, "Bhinneka Tunggal Ika" which means "Unity in Diversity"🇮🇩
