No they should not. The Texans defense is ruthless and Chiefs would be asking for a disaster. Burkholder is one of the best, keep recovering it until christmas. I will say Mahomes is insane and will always want to play, he is as competitive as Jordan.
No to Wentz this week. Still need the 1 seed so everyone gets at least a bye week. (Some two sitting in Denver) Does it suck and risky? Of course. The Chiefs bye was week 5, the whole team needs at least a week off.
@@tayche1 if you're talking about the Bucs Super Bowl I think it had more to do with the Chiefs not having an OL haha. Literally every single starter was out. I also think that was one of the few games that Reid got got. Todd Bowles had exceptional personnel and put together a masterclass defensive gameplan, and Reid was not ready for it.
Yup. KC quietly has one of the most talented teams in the NFL. Play the Red Rocket and play hard. If KC can win games with Henne and Moore they can do it with Wentz.
As a die hard Chiefs fan that's watched 100% of the snaps that Patrick has played, I'd be SHOCKED if he doesn't play on Saturday. He's played with high ankle sprains before and he said today that it wasn't nearly as bad as the one vs. the Jags. He wants to lock up the 1 seed and play the games in Arrowhead. Rest weeks 17 and 18 be ready for 19. Plus, gotta get on same page as Hollywood and he's coming back this game. Build a little rapport, get the ball out quick if you have to throw it (something they should be doing anyways with their suspect a$$ line) and run the damn ball. Start fast, build a lead and take him out.
The Chiefs entire offseason program was centered around Hollywood because he is a man coverage beater. Rashee was the yac king. You are seeing a shell of what the offense was going to be. Combine that with injury to the #2 corner and we have a team that has to win ugly. But, won they have. I believe a big reason for the winning is the coaching staff, Andy is legendary. We shall see where the chips fall at the end of the season, but they have already done something pretty amazing.
You are not even scratching the surface when it comes to all of the injuries this Chiefs team has endured. Not just a bunch of injuries like filling up the weekly injury report, but long-term and season ending injuries. It's not an excuse, though. They keep truckin' on. But when you have to keep bringing in guys in from off the street, it can get sloppy. It's a credit to Brett Veach and the personnel department that they keep reloading with productive players. I could not imagine another team with a similar amount of significant injuries at critical positions being able to pull off the best record in the league. Not even close!
It's hilarious how quick people forget just how much worse this team was last year. They were 8-5 at this same exact point of the season, led the league in drops, couldn't even muster up 20 points in more than half their games, and yet they still went on to beat Buffalo in Buffalo, Baltimore in Baltimore and finished it off to beat a dominant 49ers team. You can lie to yourself all you want but no amount of mental gymnastics is gonna change the fact that mahomes is just built different.
It's a struggle because every game they've played this season has been a SUPERBOWL GAME for ALL the other teams that want to knock them off the top of the mountain! They bring their A game unlike any other rival.
Smart move would be to sit Mahomes if he can't run to save his life given the o-line struggles. To me he sits this week he can play Wednesday vs Pittsburgh with minimal repercussions. He plays and it gets worse from taking hits Saturday we could be in serious trouble going forward.
The Chiefs have played extra games so it might be a good idea to rest Mahomes. Is it time to let Wentz step up for a game or two? What do think they will do about this injury? 🏈👨🏫 #Cheifs #NFLPlayoffs #Mahomes
I guess people will never learn. 2 years ago it was “no way the Chiefs can win it without tyreek” last year it was “no way can the Chiefs win it with this group of WRs” now this year it is “no way can the Chiefs win it with this OL”. They are 13-1 for God sake and that 1 loss is the only one going all the way back to last Christmas. I guess if you just bet against them year after year you will eventually be right but damn you lose a lot of credibility.
And 10 of their wins are on fluke last second plays. Hell they have a fg block and a fg hit the post and instead of bouncing out (90% probability) it goes in. The team has a level of black magic luck that even Tom Brady is jealous of.
@@julianwatts9024What the hell are “Fluke 10 wins”? There are 3 categories, Win, Loss, or tie… I don’t ever remember seeing a category for “fluke”. And when people say cornball sh*t like this it just shows how you either don’t wanna use rational thinking or you’re incapable of it. Gambling, Madden, and Fantasy Football have really screwed up people’s way of viewing the big picture in football. Saying that it’s luck just makes it sound like they’re just going out there and tripping over their own junk and falling into wins. Winning 19 out of 20 games in a calendar year ain’t luck. And if you believe that it is, then you’re a dope.
If mahomes can play you play him. No disrespect but an 85 percent Patrick mahomes is better than a 100 percent Carson Wentz. You can sit mahomes the Christmas day game which is 3 days away from Saturdays game against Houston
The only game I am not rooting for Pat and Andy Reid in is a superbowl vs the Eagles so I feel bad he is hurt. But they are running out of gas. It is plain as day
Agreed. KC can't afford an RG3 redux with Mahomes. Mahomes would say he could play carrying his ankle in one hand, so it's up to Reid. Plus, there are a lot of worse backup QBs than Wendtz.
No one wants to talk about it but offense is mediocre past couple of years because of Reid, he’s too old now and predictable, GM has also dropped the ball in drafting WR/TE/RB|OL, imagine Mahomes with Kevin O’Connell, Mike McDaniels, McVay, you see what a young offensive OC can do in Buffalo, TB, and Detroit

Mahomes isn't hurt. He pulled this stunt about 4 times already. If he was hurt i gaurentee he would not continue to stay in the game. You can look at him and see he is not a tough guy that can deal with pain like others.
@boscocfh if their margin of victory has been so low against sub par competition i think against a division leader Mahomes is worth at least a touchdown difference. Advantage Houston

Yes and OK.
No they should not. The Texans defense is ruthless and Chiefs would be asking for a disaster. Burkholder is one of the best, keep recovering it until christmas. I will say Mahomes is insane and will always want to play, he is as competitive as Jordan.
Wentz needs a solid OL to be successful. At least in current years,.
No to Wentz this week. Still need the 1 seed so everyone gets at least a bye week. (Some two sitting in Denver) Does it suck and risky? Of course. The Chiefs bye was week 5, the whole team needs at least a week off.
@@GreenLightPodcast I hope we do. I have faith in Carson and Andy as a duo with a good history
Every time Mahomes hurts his ankle they go on to win the Super Bowl. 🤣😆
Been saying that too 😬
when they lost to Brady his excuse was that his ankle was hurt, so that’s not true
@@tayche1it wasn’t his ankle it was turf toe, and the decimated offensive line is why they lost

@@tayche1 shoulda done your research
No one ever talks about how many more extra games the Chiefs have played. They seem a bit tired which is why we need this bye.
YES GAME ON 21 ST THEN THE 25TH.
Also playing the postseason for five years straight you don’t get much of an off-season
Mahomes is going to say he’s ok. Reid should rest him, regardless

Thanks for the video. Chiefs definitely should start Wentz on Saturday. Let Wentz do his thing.

As a Bills fans, I think Mahomes should play on Saturday.
Good video🔥🔥🏈👏
Sometimes ya gotta poke Myles😂☠️ Don’t poke the bear…literally Any Given Sunday👹
No way in hell Mahomes will let Andy pull him.
There was another play he missed a wide open Worthy when he instead decided to throw deep to Justin watson into double coverage
Pat will be okay
This is Art of War at its finest
Still have no oline

START WENTZ NO DOUBT. YOU START PAT IS VERY RISKY BIG TIME ESP THE WAY THE OL HAS BEEN SO PATHETIC ALL SEASON.
Mahomes is Mahomes!
7:05 scary part is Wentz plays and Chiefs score 40 bc Wentz hits the open guy.

3-0 in the super bowl with injured ankle. Fact check me 😂
Disclaimer alert: I sure your advice is appreciated, however, I am pretty sure Patrick and the Chiefs have Orthopedic guys in their camp. ✌️🏈

People forget texans have top 5 defenses in nfl , not 5 ! We see soon who wins regardless who’s back there , cheifs the chiefs
They play 4 games in 5 days with the Steelers being on the other side
2 games in 5 days
You ever get over to the New River

Mahomes' body language and facial expressions show his frustration. He's not having fun this year.
Must be extremely taxing being Patrick Mahomes

@boscocfh imagine living in a world where you think Wentz can win with this offense. I feel for ya
