    Good explanation of your sifter build and I will build one over the winter. I would add a few things to my build. I will ensure it is wide enough to sit over my wheelbarrow. Add a reciprocating saw to agitate the shifter.

    Excellent ideas! I've been using a screen at a slope right in my compost pit.
    Another way to inoculate is urine. I've been making biochar and after hydrating the char I've been mixing urine in to activate it. They say morning urine is best :)

      @@happyhobbit8450 yes 🙌 if we used the compost just for our own growing we’d do the same. Some people get a bit squeamish about it though. 🤣
