Thank you so much! My wife purchased this puzzle some years ago as a shelf souvenir, and I've occasionally broke it up. She was angry with me as we couldn't put it into order. Now one family problem is solved with kind your help 🤣🤣🤣
Of all the puzzles I've solved, this was the one I couldn't. I swear, I did everything else BUT the solution. I even did both silver and the "front" piece, but I didn't know how to hinge it in, or where to put the "back" piece. Thank you. Lol
So I think there's a far easier way to solve this, but first the story: I had one of these when I was young, and I used to play with it all the time. I had lost it for over a decade and only today found it. I fiddled with it a d managed to solve it then took it apart to replicate the solution and couldn't. After about an hour of failing I started looking for videos and found a few (including yours) all of which have really complex ways of solving it. I vaguely remembered the way I used to do it, I think I even got the solution from some instructions that came with it? But either way, I'm not sure how I could describe it in words, but I'll try... The easiest way to see is by going backwards with a solved one. Keeping the two gold pieces together, lift the flat parts of the silver rings up 90 degrees. From the side it should look like a 'T' and you'll notice the silver rings actually hinge up and down really easily. This is the solution. As you'll see if you can get the two gold rings arranged into the 'X' shape all you have to do is rotate the silver rings around until the 'bumps' are crossing and then hinge them down.
Thanks, this worked for me. I haven't even tried the steps in the video tbf, I tried your way first. My Aliexpress copy doesn't have branding or golden / silver rings, they're all silver. You need to pass the outer (silver) rings through the two side holes made by the crossed inner (golden) rings. For that, put the inner rings upside down and facing away from each other. The outer rings will naturally fall in place (a 50% chance they'll fall in the right orientation 😅 ). Then you twist the inner rings to face each other and the outer rings end up in the side holes. Then, while holding the inner rings together, you need to arrange the outer rings and figure out which one of them goes on top of the other to make that T shape (you can slide the outer rings in position while holding the inner rings together). My 2p. 😅 Thanks.
Doesn't help when it's a ring puzzle with out the same brand marking. Can't tell which one would be the starting silver piece hen they both look the same.
I bought my puzzle way back 1995 or so in Tokyo and none of the pieces have the brand name engraving so the puzzle get more intriguing but carefully going through your guidance I put it back again. I have not played it for many years until today

I hate that I had to look it up but idk if I'd have ever figured it out. Thanks!
I guess it is kinda randomly asking but does anyone know of a good place to watch newly released tv shows online?
@Roberto Elias Lately I have been using flixzone. Just search on google for it :)

The only guy who really helped me!
Thank you! My kids will think I’m a genius now😂
Where do you get those packages for the puzzles? Those are amazing looking
I believe it's based on region and where you buy the puzzle from. I'm not 100% sure on that though.
Really easy puzzle.👍
You think they're all easy! lol
THANK 😺YOU!

If it's exactly the same puzzle, just guess a side. Worst case you get it wrong once and just use the other one.

Now do it after taking it all the way apart, you should have 4 rings hanging in a row when it is fully apart
