Hey man, I just wanted to say how calming and awesome your pinball table reviews are. Thank you for doing them. I hope to get my first VP soon. Let’s go!
Thanks for watching Risen, I really appreciate it - and yeah, that Big Trouble is a blast! Especially if you're a fan of the movie, it hits all the right notes.
I will definitely be grabbing some of these. Starting from scratch with VPX, so its nice to see some of my old favorites have been updated. I'm looking at you Gilligan and Phantom! Lol. Great showcase video as always!
Thanks for the heads up on Champion Pub! I was wondering how I missed that one, but I see from the vpu comment section, that it'd been originally uploaded to the wrong area over there. And it's probably just me, but I prefer the unmodded nfozzy Star Trek. Both of them have noticeable flipper lag compared to other tables (not sure why) but it seems even worse in the mod, maybe because it plays a lot faster.
They both the same version done by nfozzy. Only difference is this one had VR added. The physics was left alone as TastyWasps feels this original implementation of nfozzy physics plays great. I haven't tried it for myself yet to compare to a more recent implementation.
@@PinStratsDan I'm actually playing the nfozzy version that had a VR room layered onto to it, so it's possible that THAT mod changed the physics. I believe Sixtoe had released that one a couple years ago? It definitely plays slower than the new one, but I don't have the actual original nfozzy to compare to.
@@PinStratsDan I just compared some of the physics parameters of these two versions, and there are some big differences. In the overall table physics, the friction, elasticity and elasticity falloff are different, but the difference I see that I'm perceiving the most while playing them is the sling force. The new table has them at 7, whereas the sixtoe/nfozzy version has them at 4.75. There are probably other differences as well, but these are the obvious places I thought to look first.
@@PinStratsDan I'm also seeing that the new version has lowered the flipper strength and torque. This is probably what I'm mistaking for "lag"... ie lowering those settings is making the ball come off the flippers at a wider angle compared to the sixtoe/nfozzy version.
Dumb question....If I order one of these I don't have to subscribe for tables? I can load tables on my PC and hook it up via OTG and play them that way? Can I play pinball fx 3 tables? Thanks for the video I subscribed. Very interested!
Man, I've been so busy with all my latest videos I haven't had a chance to get into it. Will definitely hit it up this weekend and get back to you - thanks!
@@digitalvictory8266 Thnx for the info. I think the text ended up under the play bar. There are audio packs available that I tried that bring the experience close to that, but I find both of the imperfect. Also fun fact, the table doesn't license the musical, just the book.
Well, it's not out yet, so we aren't quite sure yet. But obstensibly, it will have an HDMI and USB port that you will connect your PC through. Remember, these tables are NOT being played ON the Legends Pinball (it's not powerful enough) - they're being played THROUGH it. The PC there on the left is what they're played on. It's connected to the Legends Pinball via OTG connection. I just added the buystuffarcade backbox 2.0 with the full size dmd screen. It's really nice! I wish we could convince them to send you one to showcase their product and all these awesome tables on it
Aw Sven that's awesome! Are you on the World of Virtual Pinball Group on Facebook? We've got a thread / hashtag about "ShowmyPinballSetup" and I'd love to see your system with the new backbox.

I see all these cool games but no idea how to play them on my pinball machine. Do you sell full harddrives preloaded with everything needed so i can plug n play?
best advice I can give you is to look on youtube for videos that help you set it up. It is very frowned upon on the hobby to sell pre loaded drives with peoples hard work on it that they very generously share with everyone for free. Check for videos from nailbuster on his baller installer setup, videos from way of the wrench, major frenchy, rudysarcade, terryred and many more. Plus if you do a premade drive and don't learn how to set it up you will not be able to add all the cool new tables as they come out or fix anything wrong that will inevitably come up.
@fatalb2000 I respect that. Its not like I want to buy a drive it's just one have no clue how to set it up and even less time to dedicate to learn unless there was a tutorial step by step guide.
@@fatalb2000 This is excellent advice. I concur on all the channels he recommended. And there's no two ways about it, Virtual Pinball is a GREAT hobby - BUT: it DOES take a real commitment and some time to learn the ins and outs of it. But it's SO worth it. Learning is never a bad thing and this is a great rabbit hole to go down! avaforlife, what Pinball Machine do you have ?

Great video ed! You are right, these are all awesome tables! Yhanks ed for posting, And thank you to all you table creators! 👏🏻👏🏻👍🏻
What a great time being a PinHead.

Well said my man!
thanks a ton for these!
Thank YOU for watching Frank! Appreciate it!
Thank you for your work, sharing great work that keeps getting better! hugs Teisen
Thank YOU for all youdo!
Hi Ed ! POTO is also my favorite, especially with this fantastic altsound.
That Big Trouble table is spot on. Thanks for the showcase.

Appreciate you OffGrid! I'm still trying to find more time to play those new Pinball M tables too!
awesome as usual. A Xeon machine is not too far from me ,we used to play one when we were in high school
I love the feel of that one.
Championship Pub was one of those tables I skipped on until I didn't, and let me just say - it's a must for any VP library!
Same! I may do a tutorial for that one - it's fun!
I’m a bit late to watching this, but love the tables. More to the download list. So glad it’s Friday
Amen!!!
TGIF Baby!!!
I love your tutorials and videos. It is hard to keep up with all of the great tables. You definitely need to play Darkest Dungeon is an Awesome table.
You should do Kiss (1978) I was playing this at an arcade where I live and it was just like back in the day. 80,000 x 2 spinner rip all day
Hi Mike!!! Hey - did you see my Thanksgiving Video? ruclips.net/video/tYqdBZMKOw4/видео.html

New Years goal is too save cash and learn vpx... is your dmd small on pinball m?? thanks in advance
It's not very big, for sure. But you can adjust it in the settings.
Appreciate you watching, Steve!
How many tables based on Wrath of Olympus are we going to see? 🙂
That's what a good design does, I guess! LOL
Did you ever get my Grease table working? If not, let me know and we can work on it.

Where was the music for Phantom coming from? I know it's not the rom. Is it one of the audio packs?
Did you see my note on the bottom right @19:34 ?
I added it in post for my video.

The way EM score reels display should really be improved in vpx, to scroll instead of simple replacement.
That'd be nice, huh?
