Funny how he predicted that when Specimen 4 shows up, the game gets really scary. Specimen 1 is cheap, Specimen 2 is a good first monster, but not very threatening on its own, and a lot of RUclipsrs I've seen found Specimen 3 cute. But then Specimen 4 just brings up the freakiness with how their locale and aesthetic.

As someone who’s been a fan of this game since its release in 2014, I’m loving seeing everyone start playing this game and giving it the love it deserves. I especially love how it’s happening now, after some specimen reworks with Siren’s chase becoming less boring, all the 3D designs giving Subject 5 a speed boost and making things much scarier, and of course Deer Lord’s wall warping. I remember watching a video in 2020 of a guy named Wambu ranking the specimens and his only real critique with Deer Lord was that he was just Ringu but slower, which the wall warping completely flips on its head as he becomes one of the most dangerous specimens in the game. I really hope you check out Katamari Hospital, The Dollhouse, and Endless mode (preferably in that order) as they’re all really fun experiences. P.S. I say do endless last as that would add the Hospital and Dollhouse monsters into endless and being the only real way to see them in the base Spooky’s gameplay style. Plus endless has the multi-chases that have multiple monsters at once hunt you, making Goop a genuine threat as he slows you down with the puddles. You could probably do a whole stream just trying to get a high score on Endless.
Goop isn't threatening at all in the main game, but he is one of the WORST things that can spawn in Endless because his puddles can result in unavoidable damage.
you know what would have been a cool mechanic for the siren? (39:17) if when the player is on top of a box, you could hear the siren singing, and that would slowly deplete your stamina. once you run out of stamina, your character starts slowly wading through the water towards the siren; while in the water, the siren stops singing and your stamina starts to recover. then you won't regain control of your character until either the siren attacks you, or your stamina fully recovers.
Fun fact: the long hallway while you were being chased by baby was a trap and if you go into long enough the walls will close in until You can't move at all and Specimen 9 or the taker will appear
My favorite part was when Sticky revealed he was part transformer and proceeded to turn into a Formula One Racer to juke the Specimens, truly the moment of all times.
