I don't have any ACC's because I don't trust rods held together by paint. I have seen enough painted bass rods break to know to stay away. I do have several sacalait rods of other brands though. The Berkley C Series 10' is cheap and one of my favorites. It has a super soft tip and all the backbone you need. Another favorite it the cheapest jig pole I own, the Shakespeare Crappie Hunter. It is extremely flexable and keeps fish pinned. It is a blast to fish with. The most sensitive jig pole I have is the BnM Tree Thumper. I have a KFred Float Popper, and it it a lot of fun as well. All that said, my go too for fishing around trees and mats is the 11' bottom seat BnM Buck's Custom.
Thanks for the video comparison. I appreciate you taking the time & effort to make it. Love my B&M Sam Heaton and how sensitive the tip is. I generally net big crappie and don't try to flip them in the boat. Good Fishing.
Have to disagree my ACC rods is the best rods I've e ever used. I was using Todd Huckabee rods and sold them at a swap meet in MWC Oklahoma. I've had mine for 2 years now and never broke one. Guess I'm a lucky one or I take better care of my gear than some
I have one of there catfish rods but I do not own a short crappie rod made by them. I picked one up in a tackle store one time and I didn't like the feel of the rod,Just my Opinion.Try a ACC Crappie Stix-GS661P it has a split handle its a good rod and it cast really good.
Hello ! Which one are the best for casting for crappie and bluegill from the bank the ACC crappie STIX rod are the B N m rod . Please pick one that you would buy and tell your family and friends to buy them one please. B n m rods company been in business for 75 years and ACC crappie STIX company been in business for 6 are 7 years. Which rod you pick for yourself if you have to pick one for to go casting for crappie from the bank are boat please. Please reply back a comment with your answer please. Thank you so much. God bless you and your family.🙏
The ACC has a Blend mixture of Graphite and Kevlar. (The Kevlar is too stiff for crappie). That rod was designed for virtual live scope fishing. When the bite is soft you will miss fish with the green 2x4 (ACC). Check out the Outlaw Crappie Poles. You can’t go wrong.✌️
Same problem I have had with ACC. They aren't bad rods, they just don't feel that sensitive to me. I just prefer BnM. As an added bonus they are about 10-20 bucks cheaper on average than most ACC rods. I bought a few Roger Grant Difference rods to play around with side pulling and I liked them so much I started vertical jigging with them too. I think I like them more than the Sam Heaton's Super Sensitive that I have fished with forever!
I prefer BnM. Have had a couple ACC's snap at the end in the last few years. I did like the ACC's before that though, but not as much as the BnM's feel. BnM just matched my overall feel and preference a little better. If it weren't for the breakages, I would say the ACC's were good rods. Your comments about flipping with the ACC is a very good observation and is valid. I will say that BnM's TCB rod is fantastic for crappie as well, but a totally different rod for different tactics.
Hello ! If you have to pick one spinning rod to buy with your last dollar which one will you buy the ACC crappie STIX are the B n m Sam heaton super sensitive rod. I will be casting for crappie and bluegill from the bank. Please reply respond comment back to me please. Thank you so much and may god be in your heart to comment back to me 🙏

Sam I’m asking you for your honest answer please. Thank you so much and may the lord bless your heart to give me your honest answer🙏🙏🤙
Any product that is pushed by random you tubers usually ends up being garbage. ACC seems to be no exception. I’ve heard a lot of negative comments about ACC.
Had a 10ft rear seat ACC for bout little over a year didnt use it a whole lot was fishing with it one day set the hook on what turned out to be a 8" crappie thing snapped like a toothpick about 3 ' down the rod... I've never had that happen with a SSS.... just being honest I wont buy another ACC
And now you know why you can buy a replacement (1/2 ) rod from ACC for like 20 bucks. Haven’t tried it myself but that’s what I’ve been told buy the salesperson
@@russellstewart5414 had the base and then tip unit snap on my SHSS and called BNM and they sent me replacements no hassle but they did break. But really love the rod and is my go to and have a couple.

I got a 9 foot b&m super sensitive recently and found it works really well casting a small float.
Thank you for sharing your experience! It's great to hear that the B&M Super Sensitive is working well for you. Happy fishing!

I flip big crappie or bass all the time with my SH SS and they do fantastic.
10' Sams Super Sensitive is the best jig pole ever made!!!!
Thank you for your support! I'm glad you love the 10' Sams Super Sensitive as much as I do.
I really like the 7' sams super sensitive rod! Have Mr. Crappie Thunder 10' rod & it has worked for me, really light!
I have the B&M rod and I love it, can't go wrong with it.
That Acc rod is known to snap on hook set as well. Where I’ve never seen a B&M snap on hook set. Because of the parabolic bend it has.
U nailed it man my 10ft ACC broke 3 foot down the rod snapped like a toothpick on a small crappie I totally agree with u I'm not a fan
@@slabbusterrtr7690 now do yourself a favor and treat yourself to a jenko Kevin Rodgers series. Thank me later.
@@kellythompson1649 I have one 10' footer and a 11' hypersense love them the Kevin Rodgers is bullet proof

I use a 9ft crappie Maxx bass pro then an 7'2 sam's super never tried acc I love my b&m
Great video Sam. You're doing great with your channel :)
Any input on Catchthefever crappie rods. Stuck between their 7' and a 6'8 fishoutlaw rod. Fishing from the bank for now

Could the rode bending more at the tip lead to breaking?

Hello ! Which one of them rod that is the best for casting for crappie and bluegill from the bank only casting please. Thank you so much 🙏
These are 10' rods. not the best length to use from the bank. Get a 6'or 7' rod for casting from the bank in a light action.
I have a daiwa quantum 7 and 1/2 ft medium heavy it's my all-around fishing rod. One of the best fishing rod I've ever had.
No Good For Crappie!
The ACC is a two piece is the BnM? If not maybe that is why the ACC is stiffer.

I'm actually looking at the Outlaw 6'8" 24T. Not much for finding reviews on it. Which rod do you have

Why are they so expensive. Gotta be quality 40$ jigging poles coming out soon
I know!! Everything is expensive.

Boy things have come along ways since my cane pole with 8 ft of line. They cost me about $2 but i caught alot of fish. GRIZ
Great video like you I have fished both rods. But B M is always on my boat and the ACC is a wall hanger in the shop. I just don't like the action.
I still switch back and forth ,I have gotten use to the different way they fish.
Great video as always

If you are bank fishing I would go with a 6-7 foot rod , but if you have clear places to cast you should be ok with 9’ rod
Good video Sam. I think I will make a video on why crappie like a white boat house. Fished that one Saturday and it's still got fish. Thanks.
Thanks for sharing
I personally like BnM the difference it has better backbone Sam Heaton rod feels too much like a pool noodle for me especially when casting 3/8 ounce.

What A Strange Observation!
Honestly, I've heard nothing but good things about ACC products but I guess I can reserve any judgement until I buy one.
Love the video. What is the size of the reel.
What size reel are you using
I like to use the 1000 sienna reels, they do a good job for me.

What boat is that?
Lowe , catfish model . Its the one with the rod holder bar across the stern of the boat .
I have both……Sam Heaton all the way
Agree 100%
I use a Huckabee rod. Med heavy light tip best backbone lift the heavy ones in the boat
To many adds
