My Uncle Penn lived on a Wilmington Island (near Savannah, Ga. near Tybee Beach). No relation, but I liked the name anyway. Seems like a nice place. Loved the art since I graduated in Art at GSU in Atlanta in '87. I've only been to Lebanon so far. We have a Lebanon, Ga. too.
i lived here as a kid and knew every kid in our subdivision, it was awesome! My dumb ass parents moved. Dad was always chasing the next promotion. I think we moved 4 times as a kid?
Take visitors to Sugar Tree Ministries and let them look at that mess. Not a good place to live. The city spent a fortune cleaning up homeless people's mess near the railroad tracks.
I don't have an opinion of this town at all, but I have to say that the mural is really creepy. It's like Jonestown or something. Like, what's behind those cheesy smiles sort of thing.
Lived here all my life and have nun positive about this place it sucks people ain't as nice as you think it's filled with drug addicts alcoholics and wannabe gang bangers the schools are the worst I've heard of can't wait til I can gtfo

Some of its people are kind, but it is like living on poverty row. There are better, more prosperous as well as educated cities. Seek elsewhere.😵💫

I get off work around 3am and it's hard to go to the speedway quick mart without running in to the tweekers and/or heroin addicts.
Then either help the people there or leave.
