I LOVE using witch hazel on my scalp when I'm wearing my hair in protective crochet twists! I wash twice per month but use witch hazel twice weekly to refresh my scalp, unclog pores and it also just feels great.
Mannnnn....I looked online for this stuff & even in the store, and that stuff is almost $5 to $6 a bottle!!!!!! I remember that stuff being $0.75 a bottle in the 80s & 90s.

Good tip! I usually add essential oils that have antibacterial, antiseptic, antifungal properties. That helps to keep my scalp clean in between washes
