Good evening Paulette and Tes, i love a half square triangle because it is so very versatile in the various combinations, mixing large and small brings out a myriad of designs to choose from. My favourite was the one that you decided on Paulette, and enlarged out with more blocks would give a secondary pattern as well, so two wins. If you didn't want the secondary design, you could always make the blocks bigger by putting sashing along the outside edges of the 4 in a block, which would still look lovely in my view, but would make it bigger for those huge beds that can be across in the USA, lol. Crikey having seen some of them, i could get hubby, me and our adult son and daughter in them, but there again those basketballers are some height across your way, so maybe that's the reason for the enormous beds, they're not 5 foot nothing squirts like me, ha ha ha. Have a great week girls, sending you crafty hugs as always, Norah, Glenochil, Central Scotland
Hahaha! Norah you always give us a good chuckle! We're both 5 foot notmuch, so we can relate! We like to put a block like this in the computer, duplicate it and play with all kinds of ways to lay it out. Pretty cool how many different looks you could get! Hugs to you! See you next week! 🌷💕
Thanks for another beautiful block, Pauline! I love putting 4 of these together to create a 16" block that looks way more complex than it really is. Thanks for sharing your knowledge of these blocks.

Thanks for sharing! I have been saving my bonus HST’s and this would be a good way to use some of them.
Glad it was helpful! We have quite a pile of them also. Might be cute to make this in a completely scrappy style! 😊🌷
