    I participated on the PBA TOUR from the early 70s until the 2000s. This is great stuff to see

    two of my favorite pba bowlers of all time
    watching them on tv back in the 60's inspired me to want to be a pro bowler
    but i never made it to the big leagues
    rest in peace my heroes--

    Ray Bluth puts a tremendous amount of roll on the ball.

    it would be funny to see Jason Belmonte bowl against these guys, would be interesting

      Give Jason a few months playing with new equipment and Jason wins most of the time. Jason has so much more power but unlike some other power bowlers Jason is accurate.

      @@2badger2 i just read that harry smith died in august and it said that harry smith was better at new lanes than anybody back then
      he almost always led the qualifying rounds
      and he was the first bowler to use a plastic ball on tour

      @@richardwalker9826 Harry passed away Aug 8th and it was sad news. I got to meet Harry in 1969 at a PBA in my home town and he seemed a really nice guy. The big three back then were Weber, Carter and Smith.
