Yeah, that "the college" just has a lockbox sitting around with petty cash for meteors, too. I get that it was a joke considering Jordy was a yokel but rather it makes me appreciate the perfect blend of silliness, pulp comic, horror, and just thorough entertainment that this movie is.

Bless his heart, he was kind of a Lunkhead. He didn't know any better, though, so that's easy to forgive. If he'd of really thought about it, he could've waited for it to cool down, gotten some thick, long Rubber Gloves, and taken it somewhere where he could've really benefitted from it. That things gotta be worth thousands of Dollars! He could have made a killing off of that Meteor (No pun intended)!

Let me explain. If i have coin and cut it in half, then I have two pieces of a broken coin.
But if I have a hole and split it in half. I don't have two pieces of a broken hole. I have two holes, because a hole is a hole. By definition it cannot be broken.
Similarly a meteor is a meteor whether it's split into two or not. By definition it cannot be broken.
I have other examples i can share with you for your edification. Love, space, light, intellect etc. All these things can never be broken.
Perhaps now we can put this behind us and let us become best freinds. As you might have guessed I don't have many freinds

Ol' Jordy Verrill here, being a Lunkhead and all, couldn't have possibly known that things were about to get a whole lot worse. I pity Jordy... really, I do. He seems like such a nice guy. What he needed was a good woman. A good woman, that's smarter than he is. Somebody that would give him two very valuable pieces of information-
