Absolutely killer prefight promo for this one. Cannot wait. I love Regis, absolutely love him, but I give Haney an edge because he does have more experience and high level boxing ability - that being said, he is still chinny and against Regis at 140, that could end up being a big problem.

@@noopposition I watched Linares hurt him and he was hurt the rest of the fight. He’s now gone up a weight division and will be facing even harder punchers, so I personally think his Achilles heel will likely be his chin.

I don’t know why. But seeing Regis loves to read biographies of the greats made me love him even more. That’s something I love also.

this will be a 50\50 fight this Saturday I'm happy for Regis and Devin they are very young fighters making really good money and they are fighting on the Highest level in boxing.

Not 50/50 at all. That’s disrespectful to Devin Haneys boxing abilities. He is a well rounded boxing Champion. Regis is a slugger with heart, with a pinchers chance. 60/40 fight, edge to Devin.
Nope Regis has the advantage. Here is why. He is left handed. Being left handed is rare, and most fighters never fght or spar left handed opponents. In his entire amateur and professional career Haney has fought just one lef handed fighter. That was JoJo Diaz. JoJo Diaz gave Haney major problems, and took away Haney'stop weapon, his jab. Haney laned a total of just 10 jabs in the entire fight. The same thing happened against Vasyl. Vasyl fough most of the figtht in a left handed stance and Haney landed just 20 jabs. Notonly did he land just 20 jabs, he threw 188 jabs, and landed 20. A left handed stance completely takes way Haney''s jabs, which is common when fighters do not have lots of experience fghting left handed opponents.

Im concerned about Devin Coming up from a Smaller weight, not Acclimating to 140LBS, fighting a World champion in his first fight at 140LBS, Regis is the top 2 most Dangerous Fighters at 140LBS outside of IBF Champion Matias, And Devin is still draining himself Down to 140LBS. Devin is A career 147 and 154 Pounder Maxed. Devin stayed at 135LBS For 10 years of his career hopefully his body adapts quickly to the new Weight Class because even one pound of Muscle or fat has a big effect on the body.

You can tell he really came from humble beginnings and has grit & heart …. And is really proud of the position that he has put himself and his family in, through all his hard work.
Not saying any of this about Regis, specifically, to take anything away from Devin or to imply that Devin hasn’t worked his a** off to get to the top. In fact, I fw the Haney camp and feel like Devin has handled himself very well, at the young age of 25.
