Hi👋
As a student SLT in the 70',s i had a severely aphasic gentleman who was 25 yeaes post - onset stroke .The assessment & rehabilitation has improved greatly over the last 50 years thank goodness
My husband has Early Onset Alzheimers. I looked into Speech therapy for him, but, he cannot learn new tasks, he is losing his ability to do well know tasks. They made 3 appointments for him, but he doesn't think it will help, so we cancelled
There are many things that he probably does not realize. There are definitive things that can be done. I would consult with an expert speech-language pathologist and have him/her evaluate his condition and advise you.
Do you provide professional mentoring?
@@TheMamaBeez1 Yes we do. We offer a free initial get acquainted session.
@@markittleman8843 I would like to set up an initial session some time next week if possible. I need a little guidance with "imposter syndrome"
