    For the younger generation viewing this keep in mind the RR came out in1968 and other than Series2 and 3 LR's there wasn't much of a choice. There has been 50 years of technology applied to current vehicles in the way of traction control, so you see why the RR was a revolution.

    I have a disco 2 td5 manual Love it so much they look beastly with a lift, mud tires, bull bar, side steps, spot lights, winch, dif locks snorkel and roof rack. Mine is a nice dark green. The paint needs to be redone but it is old but looks amazing.
    I'd also love to own a defender and Range Rover classic.

      Sweet and I totally agree. I was really considering a off-road rigged D2 before buing the D3. I wish I had a V8 manual one with black interior. Super rear in Norway so really a collectible over here. 👍🙂 Paint can always be redone, even my D3 need a bit of touch up after years of battling the elements. Discovery, Defender and RRC is really a great combination. 👍🙂 Thank you for watching and sharing. 🤙 Simon

    I've owned several different models of Land Rover. I like the "Look" of a Defender, BUT, As for "OFF-ROAD" I choose a CLASSIC !! They perform so much better off-road !!. I miss my Defender, But LOVE my 1988 Classic ! I have 3 1988 Classics now, And won't EVER sell them. I do A LOT of off-road trailing and I spend a lot of time trailing with Jeep's, And I love it when I out perform the "Big Money" Jeep's with my "Semi-Stock" Range Rover Classic. If your wanting a GREAT off-road Landy, Go for the Classic !!. Their the best !!

    This is THE exact video i was looking for,to know if the 90 & 110 were as good,if not better,off roading,than the Discoveries,as seen comments on a different page,where Discovery was meant to be better! Commenting this before checking the vid,and thanks SO MUCH for uploading this,as i adore the Defender 110!

      Glad you liked the video and that it could give you some insight into the difference between the different models. Was the point of the video. I think they are all great but alle very different. They handle the different terrain in different ways so the can be good at something and not so good somewhere else on the track. I think knowing your car and it's limitations will get you way longer than any upgrade. If you only doing off-roading the 90 would be the better option but if you are going on longer trips the 110 would be the better option. 😀👍 Thanks for watching all the videos and giving you thoughts on them and the cars.

    Fin video - igjen. En sammenligning av de testede bilene er nesten umulig her. Skulle man sammenlignet, måtte alle bilene kjøres av samme person, samme steder, og sjåføren måtte være like dyktig med alle bilene. Hvis dette hadde vært mulig vil jeg tro at følgende rekkefølge ville være sannsynlig: 1. D3 (moderne og effektiv tc og hdc, sterk motor), 2. LR 110 med tc, 3. RRC (smidig motor, vanvittig lang og myk fjæring), 4 D2 (motbakke like god som RRC, minus for dårlig bremseeffekt pga automat, hdc neppe så god som på D3), 5 LR90 (stive fjærer, ingen tc og kanskje noe for store hjul).

    • @LandRoverDrive
      @LandRoverDrive  5 лет назад

      Hei hei og takk! :) Ja det er veldig vanskelig å skulle sammenligne 100% men morro å se litt på forskjeller uansett. 😀 Jeg villa ha tatt med samme dekktype, f.eks. MT-dekk, og standard fjærering. 👍 Og syns du har en bra rekkefølge men villa ha gjort en liten endring pga. at D3 sin vekt. Så ville dytten den ned på 3.plass. Så 110, RRC, D3, D2 og LR90. 😀 Takk for din tilbakemelding og synspunkter, det setter jeg stor pris på. Det er nå mange nye videoer på kanalen, den siste serien har 4 episoder og neste kommer på søndag. Her er en link: ruclips.net/video/4HnBgTPrXFo/видео.html
