Udinski is a risk this organization can't afford to take right now. Fraley or Kubiak are the clear choices here. Hiring a 28-year-old QB coach with zero experience has way too many pitfalls to justify making him the new OC when there's more experienced options available. If the FO had worked with Udinski and actually new who this guy is then maybe you take that risk but clearly, they do not. But we'll see John is not the brightest light on stage. Not saying Udinski can't be a great OC someday but I'm done with the on-the-job training for Seahawks OC's at this point in time.
@@charliewarren1383 yeah I don’t get the no risk approach? We are not close to championship contention. Macdonald has job security right now and should be implementing his long term vision for his team. Not being beholden to the safest route for a 2025 win total.

You gotta get out of that echo chamber you’re in that has you thinking these points are completely valid. Way too much certainty in the tone of this post for things the nobody could possibly know. Also, John is the greatest GM this FO has ever had by a country mile. Name a Gm without mistakes on their jacket for me. I’ll wait…. I’ll take it a step further, name me an available GM that’s better: You have no idea what Seattle needs internally. Like the rest of us, you have seen the outcome and results of decisions and that’s completely valid…but beyond that you’re throwing a lot of shade at people who likely have far superior football knowledge and experience than yourself. Unless you’d like to touch on some of things that qualify you to be so sure?
Kubiak is solid. Saints were just not a very good team and they had a lot of injuries. Seattle really just needs some guards and a new QB to improve. Klint knows how to call plays. Derek Carr is mid and then he had a rookie in Rattler playing. They lost Olave and Shaheed. Fired their head coach.

I'm with you Brain, I prefer high ceiling over high floor! Great interview
We can’t afford to go that route after Waldron and grubb
I think they r going to hire Udinski as a qb coach/passing game coordinator and Kubiak as the OC.
Get Ben back on the show closer to draft or preseason.

I’m intrigued by udinski. A hard no for kubiak
So you want someone who has never called plays rather than kubiak 💀
@ in this case yes. Kubiak record as OC not exciting. Aren’t you tired of the 9 win seasons?
