Because that's not how you order food or how employees are trained to take orders lmao. It's literally breaking from the social script of food service, so of course they're thrown off sometimes.
@@blesshim5634 id understand if maybe English wasn’t their first language so maybe they wouldn’t understand but I worked in fast food for 5 years and would get this straight away. It’s a simple question it’s not that difficult lol
@@cameron8742 millie even said at the end of the video "of course they were confused it's weird" so yeah, it is acknowledged as confusing. Why would anyone ever order like that if not for a challenge? And they aren't trained for being part of your challenges? Overall it's really lame to be upset with them for not knowing how to do something this weird right away.

@@blesshim5634 When you work at McDonalds you can see on your screen while taking an order the previous car's order, so in sense its actually not that hard to put through the till. Its weird that no workers in this video could do it
@@amybish95 after hours of working like this a lot of workers go on autopilot. Millie even said at the end "of course they were confused" because it's a weird thing to do. Don't get mad that worker's aren't trained to be part of your challenges. Of course they don't understand why you would order something if you don't know what you're ordering.

not to be that person but bubble tea is a Taiwanese drink and it commonly consists of milk teas. The fruit teas (e.g. apple) are more of a western adaptation. The black circles in there are called tapioca balls and they usually come with every order. Thats what the 'bubble' in bubble tea is and why most people drink it. The thing that you thought was ice is called grass jelly also a common topping in the drink. There are different variations and combos (e.g. sweetened kidney beans or cheese) with bubble tea and it comes down to personal taste! I just thought I would let you know incase how you described it offended some people. I know you probably didn't know that about bubble tea so I thought I'd give you a brief explanation of it! Hopefully next time you can try a combo that you like! Loved the video though and its a shame the employees didn't understand what you meant!
Just so you know, it’s not called bubble tea because of the tapioca. It was given its name due to the fact that when flavor is added to it and the drink is shaken up, it forms bubbles :D
