    Today's Topic:
Where do you start when the curiosity for starting a gel nail business grows?
Do you start with nail colors? Nail art supplies? Equipment? Uhm… ??
Exactly. We could just go on a random shopping spree.
SO I want to make this video and listing out the things you need by putting them into 3 categories.
And because my specialty is in gel nails, the essentials we’ll be curating are for those stylists also wanting to specialize in gel nails.

I just appreciate all your safety tips. The nail supplies I have, I am using for art, not on other people or myself, but still PPE is important with chemicals. After watching this, I will invest in the brand curing lamp from the nail gel company I got my supplies from. From seeing people becoming so allergic to products, I believe in the safety for sure.
Appreciate all you share and teach.😊

Great video!I love that you remind us that we don't have to offer all the services in the world. I am licensed and starting out and my mind is dizzy with all the trends and options. I am sticking with the classics which is what I love. Thank you!

Thank you so much this helped me so much on getting an idea on what I needed and a recommendation I would use like fake hands or something like that to practice on first before trying on a person. Just a thought I would put out there!

What I am looking to get gel base/top coats from a brand that doesn't have its own dedicated lamp? What do you recommend?

Nitrile gloves are also acetone resistant.

Hie , I loved your honest information . I am just starting out with nails and it’s so exciting and wanted to purchase everything . Was just about to buy an e file 😅 u saved my pocket . But a quick question tho . If I use those gelx /extensions or so wouldn’t I need a drill to file off the bottom so it sticks well to the nail plate . I’ve seen many who hv done . Or is there other way to do it . ?? Thnks much ❤

Hey! You can practice your efiling (gentleness) on an egg, before you even try on yourself and even others... but either way! You can "chemically" etch the back of those tips with a bonder (primer).

Not familiar with that brand, but you can also make beautiful art with colors that are more on the sheer side.

@@PaolaPonceNails yes you are right but some designs require pigmented colors when to outline and draw would you recommend venalisa.?
