So is this tiny device capable of playing back all tracks properly and glitch free from the DAW used (in my case Cubase on W10) including all VST instruments etc ? and is there some type of direct monitoring of the track that is to be recorded ? or do you have to monitor through the DAW with most likely some latency ? hope you can help :-)

I haven't tried the Fender yet. But though the demo videos, I can tell it also sounds very good! If you want more functions, chose the NUX. If you want simple, easy to use device, Fender might be better.

I'm having a problem here: I can her audio from my phone (iPhone 6s, IOS 14.2) by bluetooth, but can't connect to the app. I select Mighty Plug on the app, but the app can't find it. I've already update the firmware on my Mac and deleted and reinstalled the app for about 5 times this afternoon. Am I missing something?

Yup, you can. It won't sound the same obviously as the sound is an emulated sound, but it's gonna be good enough for a beginner.

Use the computer's headphone output to monitor all the effects in your recording software. That's what I always do.

Yes, you can, after you pare with Bluetooth, you can play any music from your phone. It will come through the headphone output.

Is it normal that on my Mighty Plug the big button is flimsy and you can hear it rattling when you shake the device?
Not normal! Mine doesn't do that.

The only wireless connection with your phone is by Bluetooth, and it will have a big latency. That's why they can't put a tuner inside. They tried.

This unit is designed to use with headphone or full range speakers. Most big selling point is to use it as an audio interface.
