    That still looks amazing. I have heard that if you slightly tint your resin, it's supposed to stop the yellowing. Also, Ben, watching you turn, i realised I'm using my tools wrong, I think. QOTD, could you please show the right angles to hold the tools. Thank you 😊

    • @suep9445
      @suep9445 16 дней назад +2

      I don't think a little tint to the resin stops the yellowing, just makes it less apparent.

    I know this isn't a bottle but I do miss and like the bottles you made an come up with. And I like that burl wood that you and Nick use quite often in the projects. I like how it looks pretty much by itself I think sometimes it would be cool just seeing some nice pieces of it done up in resin would look pretty cool, some painted and some natural or even stained.

    You should do some experiments on yellowed resin. If you have some pieces to sacrifice that is. I always wondered if they could be restored. I've seen people use hydrogen peroxide and UV light to whiten old yellowed plastic.

    I'm actually really curious if it is just a surface yellowing, or if it is all the way through the resin. Have you considered resanding and seeing what it looks like?

    Look at how yellow it is!!! Thanks for providing concrete proof that plastic projects are a waste of time. No one wants to admit that this is just plastic junk. Sorry Ben, you’re a talented artist that should work with something more permanent. Plastic is such a problem for the modern world that creating art with it is akin to adding to the problem.
