Never heard such a beautiful voice like Clare`s. Together she and Sam, they really touches my hearth.
I will never stop watching the show repeatedly. The bonds between some of these artists and their voices are just fantastic. The show was structured incredibly and also teaches a few life lessons. Personally, scarlett+gunnar and juliett+Avery are the best together. The storyline is well thought through, and the fact most of these songs they wrote themselves is AMAZING. This show reveals the true meaning behind music. I never liked country music before, now i certainly do! Amazing show.

As to why these two didn't end up together, I'll never understand.

@@anita6618 It wasn't because of Autumn. The writer of this show just couldn't make her mind up. Besides, the show ended with showing Scarlett's real husband, which was completely bizarre and made the show seem so funny. Especially bringing back Rayna James and making Deacon Clayborne look like he was talking to a ghost.
@@KnowledgeOverIndoctrination so that was her real husband I didn't know that. I thought that was weird because I never seen him before I was hoping that Gunner and Scarlett would've got together at the end but I guess not. Seeing him threw me off

I’m so irritated the show could’ve done so much with Gunnar and Scarlett but they ruined them. They are like Rayna and Deacon but they could’ve had a better, stronger relationship from the beginning instead of all the damn drama.

Brooke Kelsey Yes I completely agree with you. I was so upset that they didn't have a happy ending in the end of the show. They were my favorite couple in the show apart from Deacon & Rayna and Juliette & Avery.
Agreed! They clearly wanted it to be a parallel of Deacon and Rayna, but I think they should have made into what could have been had Rayna and Deacon been healthier from the beginning.

+Elizabeth Root I honestly think there will be a time jump when Season 5 starts, Scarlett and Gunnar may already be married or have a kid. (because the show has been cancelled and Clare/Scarlett's hair has probably grown quite a bit since the show ended)

That B tried to split them up but failed. I was hoping that she wouldve got what was coming and her career and fan base ended.

So, everyone, amazingly wonderful news!!! NASHVILLE IS BACK!!!! It was picked up by another network for a 5th season!!!! So happy, it was too good a show that produced amazing music and a wonderful storyline, great acting!!!!

I'm so emotional about this damn show. I've invested so many years into show and grown to care deeply about lot of these characters. I'm stoked that most of them got their happy endings, but I'm gutted for Juliette, Avery and Cadence. I read somewhere that the producers are looking for another network, I don't know if it'll get picked up or not. I hope it does, but if it doesn't, I guess this ending wasn't the worst. I'm happy that, in the end, everyone found their way back _home_. I'm gonna miss every single one of these characters that I've loved and hat ed, and loved more, and I'm gonna miss the music.
I know its 2 years since you wrote this, but do You think everyone got their happy ending? Juliette almost died in a plane Crash? how can that be a hoary ending for Avery and Juliette, and their friends and family?...

This is the real series finale, that garbage their doing now, I actually stopped watching Scarlet's scenes, the show is better that way, but it is still very hard to watch. And Gunnar was such a good musician but they keep treating him like a rookie musician, his heart is crushed every time and Scarlett is so good at singing, but I have no idea what she's doing, I skipped those scenes! Don't even get me started on losing Rayna James! Yes, this is the only series finale I want, I wish they had cancelled it right here!

Agree, I kind of think they should've ended it here (minus the cliffhanger with the plane crash). It really went off the deep end in season 6.

As I do my Nashville rewatch, it only pisses me off even more how they RUINED Gunnar and Scarlett. Why make references to them being end game the whole series only to give such a terrible ending... Especially the absolute character destruction they did of Scarlett in season 5. She was pretty horrible to Gunnar the whole season... If anything Rayna's death should have made her come to her senses and solidified their relationship... UGH.. RANT OVER 🤣🤣🤣
I heard it was because Clare's real life husband was on the show too and he was terribly jealous and wanted her character to end up with his character or some bs and for some reason the producers complied

CMT had picked Nashville up so there is going to be a fifth season. Hopefully in the season five Premire that will be reveal if Juliette had survived up and that that storyline will be dragged out. I love to see to what will happen bewteen Gunnar and Scarlett. I am hoping that Juliette is not dead and that she and Avery will reunited face to face in the season five premire.

This was their ending for me. I still can't bring myself to watch the episodes after Connie Britton left. Like yeah, the writing was bad on ABC but the CMT showrunners just torpedoed the show.
I also wonder what happened between Clare Bowen and Sam Palladio because they were very friendly in season 1 promo and then sometime during the ABC run, she unfollowed him on social media. It seemed like she did not want to be near him and I think that definitely played a part in their characters breaking up again in the CMT run and her real life husband being Scarlett's random husband. Anyway, at least we will always have the music.

All these comments about Gunnar and Scarlett being "perfect for each other"?! Hard to understand anyone feeling that way - Gunnar was a passive-aggressive, jealous nightmare from the beginning. Their musical chemistry is amazing, but off-stage? Absolute no.
That's a good point. Scarlett also had to gain confidence in herself. That is why it was good they were apart for a while romantically (and otherwise at times). That was a good time to show Scarlett branching off on her own. Don't know if they were so successful with growing Gunnar's character, because I only saw the beginning of it as I didn't get to see the show continue on CMT (with the showrunners of one of my favorite shows too. Even though I too supported the show, I don't have cable). He had to deal with his past and possibly co-dependency. but they could have written the journey (beyond what "concludes" in this video), and THEN they could have been together. I thought that was what they were going to do. I heard that was not the case, which is disappointing. It always seemed like they were meant to be the new Rayna/Deacon, in that they had chemistry on stage but too many issues to make it work (alcoholism, codependency) but I the show meandered for a while and eventually went in the other direction. I will admit I liked them (and their music) best in the first season. Just my opinion.
