    Lost to a kid from Temecula Valley and walked away like a whiny cry baby instead of shaking hands out of respect like all other wrestlers do. Just because your number one in the country doesn't mean you can't lose. That was a good match way to go Gaitan

      I mean, it does mean you’re number one. Don’t get it twisted the other dude wasn’t just handed his ranking, he earned that shit by beating tons of other amazing wrestlers. Going into this tournament he was certainly the best. Now MJ is the best. Don’t try to undercut MJ’s accomplishment by acting like rankings mean nothing, cause they do mean something.

    • @ThatMexicanBrian

      @@nicholasgonzales9560 your only number one because you probably didn't wrestle the guy that has your number. For me and many other wrestlers your ranking doesn't mean anything until you show me that your number one other than that your just someone someone hasn't wrestled me yet. That's the same mindset Temecula valley kid has and to him number 1 didn't mean shit until he proved he was number one which he didn't.

    Perryman building champions again

    • @n.h6001
      @n.h6001 2 года назад +3

      He didn’t do shit. That kid was a stud in 8th grade before he even knew mark perryman and perryman jumped ship to a school with a program that has always produced studs. They’ve been winning SS league for 35+ years. He doesn’t get credit for this.
      If he was so good he would’ve made champions out of Great Oak or Vista Murrieta when he was there

    • @n.h6001
      @n.h6001 2 года назад +2

      @bob louss I can assure you he hasn’t. His 8th grade year he was wrestling with the great oak kids. This was after perryman had left and went to vista Murrieta. I’ve been around the SS league probably longer than you’ve been alive. Mark perryman isn’t a bad coach but he’s nothing special. He gets parents to eat out of his hands. He’s a good talker hence why he’s an attorney.
      TVHS’s success has nothing to do with mark. He came to a winning program and nothing changed. They’re no better or worse without him. And those are just the facts.

    • @n.h6001
      @n.h6001 2 года назад +2

      @bob louss don’t worry about who I am. I’ve been dealing with the SS league for a long time. MJ was committed to great oak after perryman left during the 2014 season. He later decided to transfer to TV because there wasn’t enough competition In the great oak room (from my understanding). Mark had talked for years about how much he hates TV and how he would never coach there. Once he realized that it was the only school in the league getting transfers and maintaining depth, and realized he wasn’t having success at other schools, he jumped ship.
      In case you’ve forgot… TVHS has had studs every single year for the last 40+ years. Including state titles back in the day. Having nationally ranked kids really isn’t anything new for them.
      And again, if mark is such a good coach and this is all his doing, why didn’t he ever do it anywhere else? Because he’s riding the coattails of Campbell and Alpert and the program TV developed since the 70’s
      You sound like one of the parents buying what he’s selling. He reminds me a bit of Glassey.

    • @bobbylight2119
      @bobbylight2119 2 года назад +3

      @N.H you really have no clue what you’re talking about. You are probably just some low life that was failure that never got his kid coach by mark so now you feel the need to talk trash over the internet to try and bring down the success of Mark and his wrestlers.
      I can assure mark is a very successful coach and can’t do everything for his wrestlers they also have to believe in themselves and have that confidence and mindset to win. That’s probably why the kids at Goak and vista never succeeded. Because he’s produced champions over at Canyon Springs. Even helped Christian Pagdilao win his state title over Anthony Valencia.
      Also tvhs has never one a state title. They have boards in their wrestling room that state they have never one a state title nor have they ever been top 5 in the state until Mark started coaching those athletes.

    Excellent match! But Gaitán is pronounced with the accent on the second syllable. Kind of like guy-THON. The announcer in the arena does a much better job at the end of pronouncing the name. If you’re going to be talking about a potential future Olympian, get his name right.
