Great pick up! Back for the Attack, Love Gun, Stay Hungry are big standouts here for me. Being a fan of all that great 80's "hair metal" I should really check out the New York Dolls seeing that they were such a big influence. Great video!
Nice to see some a-ha. One album I can reconment is the follow up to "Hunting High and Low" called "Scoundrel Days". They were already moving away from their synth pop sound to a more rock sound. The title track is fantastic and "Cry Wolf" was a minor hit in the U.S.
The Cures album Pornography is very good i think. Its very dark sounding , and i like to play it loud. They have a new album out titled Songs of a lost World. Be bop Deluxe had a major hit titled Ships in the Night in 1976. In the UK and here in NZ.
The trilogy in that Jethro Tull set you bought- Songs from the Wood, Heavy Horses and Stormwatch- those are my favourite Jethro Tull albums. Songs is my No 1 favourite. For my top 5 by Tull, I'd throw Minstrel in the Gallery and Thick as a Brick in there, but the line up Ian Anderson had for that trilogy of albums, I think that was the best Jethro Tull band line up.
Nice haul! I think the one I like the best is the 10 years after I’d love to change the world is a nice song. My favorite song there is a song is im going home live . check it out on the Woodstock soundtrack. I only got one CD this month. It was the Fanny anthology, which is their first four albums. I do recommend the band Fanny, especially since you like female singers.
I agree on Give My Regards to Broadstreet. It’s an ok album. No More Lonely Nights is an awesome song. Too many covers. The movie is terrible. Pocahontas is a good soundtrack. Awesome find there. I agree Colors of the Wind is one of the greatest Disney songs.
Be Bop Deluxe! Way to go Bryer's. Bill Nelson is a genius.
Yeah, his guitar work was really great! 😃
very cool haul bryer. your collection is growing and growing.

My first album with Jethro Tull was Too Old to Rock n Roll Too Young to Die good album

Great cd haul bryer the deep purple album the battle rages on is definitely not their best but the title track really rocks 🤘
Yeah, the title track was a solid opening track. 😀

I still need to listen to Minstrel in the Gallery, but I was really impressed with those 3 albums. 😀

I’ve heard of Fanny from time to time. Definitely want to check them out at some point. 👍👍
You should check out the album Stonedhenge with Ten Years After I like all the albums with them and also try Alvin Lee and his soloalbums

Thanks Jason! If you say the movie is terrible then I’m REALLY not in a rush to see it. 😂
