I visited the Kariakoo market, accompanied by two locals ... and the first thing they told me was to stay close to them, because for white people it can be dangerous.
I have not seen all this beauty ... certainly the local products are fresh ... for the rest, I think a big market of low quality Chinese products ... traffic jams of trucks, bicycles ... the Africans, who are notoriously quite calm, here are all in a great hurry ...

Thanks for sharing your experience! Kariakoo can be overwhelming at first, but Tanzanians are known for their warmth and hospitality, and Kariakoo reflects that vibrant spirit. While it’s a bustling place, the idea that it’s unsafe is often a misconception. Many visitors, including locals and tourists, enjoy exploring its lively atmosphere, fresh products, and diverse offerings. It’s a true gem showcasing the hard-working nature of the people. 😊
