Chaïm Soutine In English

From August 16 to December 1, 2024, the Kunstmuseum Bern is devoting a major retrospective to the painter Chaïm Soutine, entitled Chaïm Soutine, À contre-courant (Against the current).
Soutine's expressive, powerfully colored paintings highlight the vital dimension of existence and constitute a pictorial experiment against the current, marked by the seal of torment.
