Your BLADE is under your razor blade right now!!!! I see its little tip sticking out from under your 'blueprint ' paper!! Wish You could hear me yell! So fun!
This was great. So much fun. I wanted so bad to show you where your blade went. lol. You just go on being the best little crayon shaver you can be. lol. Thanks for the fun, :-)
It's there, right there, we all say, tapping the screen, haha. I'm loving those fancy little glitter jars :) if i ever had a craft room, i would be at the Op shop finding a bunch of S&P shakers for it after seeing them, how cute sitting on a shelf.
I don't have Pinterest, but i keep hearing it can be an evil place that makes crafters do things they would never have thought of before they got lost in it's web, hehe. YT is my thing..
So funny, I kept pointing to the blade, like you vould hear me and see what I was pointing to. I like the crayon shavings. looks like fun - but more so with the glitter. Glitter and bacon make every thing better.
I am so glad I am not the only person that sets something down right in front of myself and loses it. I haven't laughed so hard in a long time Thank you.
Very late watching this but was very excited by it. Loved the crayon & glitter. Want to experiment with candle wax. Seriously, watching videos like like one has turned me into an even bigger hoarder than I used to be.
I found it! Your missing blade is on the left side of your work area, under a piece of waxed paper, I think. Just below the bag of chalks! I think adding the water kept the bag from readily fusing but as you heated it, and the water dried, that's when it started to work better. Fun experiments! 😊
Those apricot flakes look like fish food. I think the chalk ones looks pretty cool. I really like the one with the glitter. Off topic I love the idea of your salt shakers for the glitter. It's funny, Shannon, because I have the opposite problem, someone comes in after me and leaves stuff! It isn't that messy and full when I leave~
+Lottie Faith LOL They do look like fish food! But they don't smell like it :) Pinterest told me to put my glitter in salt shakers because it was the cool thing to do. They were right.
OMG!! I was laughing so hard tears came at your outtakes at the end! I used to have a really good mind, too. That could have been me!! :) This was a fascinating experiment, BTW.
Hello☺. Notice you said chalk was dusted with the other chalk because in same bag . I've found that if you store your chalk in a container with Rice with enough to cover the chalk you can put the lid on and give it a good shake the rice cleans the chalk. I've tried this at a art camp classes it works great!
Omg I just love your bloopers! Always gets me laughing lol. I'm sitting here going "there's the blade! It's right there! You almost touched it!" But you can't hear me lol 😂 So, if you want a more blended look for the crayons maybe try straight coloring on the bag, maybe with oil pastels so they'll grab better? And tip for your crayon dust.. A lint roller will pick that all up so easily! Even when my kids color they use it to clean up now, I use it straight on the pages even instead of trying to wipe it all away Thanks again for a great video 😊👍🏻
I keep tapping the screen because I can see the blade, but you can't see me. I loved this, have you tried clear plastic bags and threads? The bloopers on the end had me in stitches. Thank you Shannon for making my Monday.
This is late, but I said 'Oh NO! the alcohol and iron heat will cause an explosion'! So glad we made it to the end - I'm going to try this whenever I can clear a large enough space so I don't lose my razor. ha, ha, ha, he, he, he 🙂
This is so cool, I love your bloopers too and your fabulous sense of humor.... Is there anything else I could use instead of cereal bags as we don't get them here,
There you go again...making me laugh my ass off...when you said you used to be really smart and now you're shaving crayons, I totally lost it. Ended up having a coughing fit (I have a bit of a cold), then peeing myself. (Amazing how much you miss bladder control when you've lost it!!!) LOL You are the queen of "mad scientist" art.
I laughed so hard at your statement about being so smart and now you are shaving crayons until I realized I was just watching you shave crayons.....hahahahahaha love it!
Hmmmm, I wonder if this would work well with oil pastels ?? I might have to give it a try if I ever see my iron again. (it's been years) Love your videos !
+karen mccabe It does work with oil pastels, I've tried it but I didn't film it. In fact they seem to melt better and smoosh around more than the crayons.
Just love your videos keep giving us all these wonderful ideas good way of using up all our paints, I'm going to try this one and then use the heat gun and see what happens
did you drop the razor blade in with the glitter or the bits of gold leaf? also, love the crayons--i'm thinking that they need to be bigger shavings--maybe use an old cheese grater or one of those nutmeg graters? or try coloring right onto the bag? i can remember in elementary school, we did a project where we colored on wax paper and then the teacher fused the sheets together to make this weird melty crayon thing that we then glued into a black paper frame as "stained glass windows" love the way you experiment and play, though :)
sounds like ur ahead of the game...when I was young I wasn't smart! I like the idea with just 1 flower in the corner & the rest with shiny thingys or the chalk dust-in other words just only 1 paper item to off set...does that make sense?
I would like to know what you will do with these. I like the idea. I guessed you would find the blade when you cleaned up - do we all have those dang gremlins???
+elkeartsandcrafts Elaine Jones My intention is to use them for journal pages or maybe even covers. Have I actually done that yet. Well....no....but I have intentions! LOL
I know this is an old video - but have you tried shaving a bit of clear paraffin (or beeswax if you want to be a purest) quth the chalks to get the wax bond and melt effect? I think i may!
Holly Lobby sells a really nice and cheap gold paint, in the tempura section. It's not a yellow with glitter in it, it's really nice metallic gold. A quart for a couple bucks. Wonder what that would like, splattered amongst the shavings...? Tempura base is plastic (I'm guessing) so maybe might help the melt-and-fuse process? Anyway, you're so creative and hilarious, always a pleasure to watch you experiment! :-)
It would be amazing to take some beautiful animals and layer your your prints over them I can see it now fantastic endless possibilities with this tyfs
Well, Shannon, you've Done It Again!!! Here's a thought, what about making a Sample Page trying a section of each of your 'goodies' so you can see how they react individually ?!?!? Just sayn' :-)
So funny, I kept pointing to the blade, like you vould hear me and see what I was pointing to. I like the crayon shavings. looks like fun - but more so with the glitter. Glitter and bacon make every thing better.
Oh mylanta... you make me laugh so much! A dose of you and coffee in the morning makes for a great day. You are an inspiration to me. Thank you!!!
So glad you enjoyed it Sandi!

You make me chuckle Thankyou You are good for the soul .Look at all those wax crayons I thought I had plenty until I saw yours lol .😀
I'm pretty sure I have more crayons than I will ever need :)
I love that you are so willing to try things out on the fly and share the experiments with us.
+Viveca Duazo I appreciate you taking the time to watch :)
Your BLADE is under your razor blade right now!!!! I see its little tip sticking out from under your 'blueprint ' paper!! Wish You could hear me yell! So fun!
I had to scroll down to see if you found the blade...! 💙 Thank you for sharing with us!🌠
I'm just glad I found it without having to step on it!
This was great. So much fun. I wanted so bad to show you where your blade went. lol. You just go on being the best little crayon shaver you can be. lol. Thanks for the fun, :-)
+Laurie Richardson Haley LOL I'm a proud crayon shaver, dadgummit!

+Dianne Blake Glitter, bacon, and a lil pat o' butter!
Shannon, you are so Funny girl!!! Loved this one I'm in stitches laughing out loud! Hugs
+TACSTAMPS2U Goobers on parade!
Watching you NOT see the blade you were looking for was amusing. It is amazing what we don't see that is right in front of us. LOL
+Doreen Marchetti You wouldn't believe how long I looked for that thing...I edited out more of that footage than I kept!
I am so glad I am not the only person that sets something down right in front of myself and loses it. I haven't laughed so hard in a long time Thank you.
+Scottishbloom I had a feeling it was going to end up right under my nose and sure enough it did! LOL
Very late watching this but was very excited by it. Loved the crayon & glitter. Want to experiment with candle wax. Seriously, watching videos like like one has turned me into an even bigger hoarder than I used to be.
I"m right there with ya!
😂....cant believe I am sitting shouting at my screen telling you where your blade is!!! Love the melty yumminess you made 😄

+Cat Hand That's exactly where I found it after filming! LOL I didn't event think about that but you're probably right about the water.
+Shannon Green LOL! That blade being right there was one of those things where my mama would've said, "If it'd been a snake, it would've bit you!" 😜
Those apricot flakes look like fish food. I think the chalk ones looks pretty cool. I really like the one with the glitter. Off topic I love the idea of your salt shakers for the glitter.

You made me feel soooo normal, I laughed so hard because I now know someone else is like me, keep up the bloopers.
So glad you enjoyed it!
Shannon, you're as mad as a box of frogs but I love your humour! You have a new subscriber.
Oh I appreciate that very much!!
Omg I just love your bloopers! Always gets me laughing lol.

Oh Shannon, I love your sense of humor. "Here I am, shaving crayons on RUclips". Laughed till I had tears!
+Lyn inRaleigh LOL I swear sometimes I can be a fried pie!
I laughed till I cried. Thank you for that Shannon.
So glad you enjoyed it!
hahaha "nobody panic" I laughed so much at this! you are awesome! :)
so glad you enjoyed it!
This is so cool, I love your bloopers too and your fabulous sense of humor.... Is there anything else I could use instead of cereal bags as we don't get them here,
+CraftyMagz If you ever have any magazines delivered in a sealed clear plastic bag...those bags will work too.
oh cool thank you
Thank you... I have not enjoyed anything so much in a long time!!
Oh I like this. Just texted my daughter and told her to save me all her cereal boxes and empty bags so I can try this. : ) Thank you for sharing.
Thanks so much for watching!
Wow I love them all, I will be emptying the cereal packets tomorrow to have a go. I wonder if sequins would work.
+Jean Whittaker Try it and see! Then make sure you let me know ;)
This is late - but I had the same thought - because I have a box of sequins sitting on my table for a month!
There you go again...making me laugh my ass off...when you said you used to be really smart and now you're shaving crayons, I totally lost it. +Frankie B LOL! Toooo funny!
ANd 7 years later, I'm watching the comments about us watching the shavings....
Super video , You sure do make me laugh and I was shouting at the screen going you blade it to the left of you .
+smurfie161 LOL Silly thing was right under my nose!
Hmmmm, I wonder if this would work well with oil pastels ?? I might have to give it a try if I ever see my iron again. (it's been years)
Love your videos !
+karen mccabe It does work with oil pastels, I've tried it but I didn't film it. In fact they seem to melt better and smoosh around more than the crayons.
О!!! I understood!!! It turns out like like "acrylic skin." In general - cool!
+MR.VICTOR CRAFTER Yes! Very similar :)
OMG so funny! The blade is to the left under the paper! I know this is old but you are hysterical! The fused papers turned out so cool! I will try!
Thanks for watching Tracy!
It's way more than cool. It's awesome
Just love your videos keep giving us all these wonderful ideas good way of using up all our paints, I'm going to try this one and then use the heat gun and see what happens

Loved the comment about how you used to be smart once. I often think that about myself and I wonder where the brain cells ran off too!
+Pauline Kluske They're gone, I tell ya, GONE!
Do you have a fire extinguisher? lol. It is really cool. Your cereal bag experiment!!!!!
did you drop the razor blade in with the glitter or the bits of gold leaf? also, love the crayons--i'm thinking that they need to be bigger shavings--maybe use an old cheese grater or one of those nutmeg graters? or try coloring right onto the bag? i can remember in elementary school, we did a project where we colored on wax paper and then the teacher fused the sheets together to make this weird melty crayon thing that we then glued into a black paper frame as "stained glass windows"
love the way you experiment and play, though :)
+shaych03 The blade was on my desk the whole time under some of those papers. Sheeeeesh!
LOL well, at least it wasn't on the chair. that wouldn't have been fun to sit on.
Do you suppose Wonder Woman has the same problem after she parks her plane? "Hmmm, now where did I park that invisible plane?"
+surly808 Oh Lord I hope so!
Can't wait fir you to stitch it!
+christierella I'm excited to see what will happen :)
Love it, too funny. I was looking at that wondering when you would see it.
+Patricia Stubbs If it was a snake it woulda bit me ;)
+Shannon Green You crack me up ! I love your sense of humor !
sounds like ur ahead of the game...when I was young I wasn't smart! I like the idea with just 1 flower in the corner & the rest with shiny thingys or the chalk dust-in other words just only 1 paper item to off set...does that make sense?
+Darlene Ferree It does make sense and I like it too!
What about using a grater to grate chalk, I don't know about crayons.
+christine gianni That might work better.
I would like to know what you will do with these. I like the idea. I guessed you would find the blade when you cleaned up - do we all have those dang gremlins???

I'll have to look for that paint, sounds like it needs to come home with me :)
To get decent size chunks of crayon, just use a plain old pencil sharpener. Excuse me if someone already posted this.
It would be amazing to take some beautiful animals and layer your your prints over them I can see it now fantastic endless possibilities with this tyfs
Thanks so much for watching!
Well, Shannon, you've Done It Again!!!

I use a potato peeler to shave crayons with
+Patricia Sue Great idea, thanks!

I think everyone but me saw it!
Thank you for making me laugh
Thanks for watching!
Interesting!!!!!
Cheese grater, to making shavings
Great idea!
brilliant!
lol😄 You have made my day😊
These are cool
Thanks Veronica!
Great! The last one probably didn't fuse because of the water. I don't know where the blade is, I hope it isn't on the floor for you to step on.
+Ros Jones I found it..it was underneath the layers of paper on my desk. I was afraid my foot would find it too!
You may have had too much water at first for a good fuse (,caused steam?) But other than that...extremely entertaining!!!
So glad you enjoyed it!
Gremlins are stealing from you ! lol
+Donna Harris (Southern Crafty Lady) Those sneaky little devils!
lol
Oh my goodness it’s under the paper on the left side
I totally did NOT see it.
you keep your glitter in vintage salt shakers?
+Judith Montel Yes, Pinterest told me to do that :)
At 21:40 it is just under the wax paper under the tip of the blue crayon.
+Letha Richardson thismuseofmine I found it after I quit filming. I was the only one on the planet who couldnt see it! LOL
You are one Hot Mess! funny! but I hope you have insurance
I don't think the universe has enough insurance to protect me! LOL
Lol , I was wondering what it would look like if- when you peeled the plastic apart, you the ironed it back onto white paper.
Oh that's a good idea!
Try drawing a picture on it with crayons and see what happens!?! ♥️
Great idea!
😜
Is your husband a designer? The blueprints you use for .... What is it you call them? I will just call them drop cloths.
For...
So funny, I kept pointing to the blade, like you vould hear me and see what I was pointing to. I like the crayon shavings. looks like fun - but more so with the glitter. Glitter and bacon make every thing better.
mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmBacon....................!😄😂😂
