Honestly i don't hate the idea of the fire res checks for MC. To me it leans into the old school design of original 04 wow where they expected people to get res gear. Private servers and classic players were just soo much better and optimized at the game then original players were that they learned how to just blow up bosses faster then expected being able to ignore res check mechanics. I think the fun thing about the fire res mechanic is that it leans into the RPG nature of the game an the original classic nature of the game where prepping goes a long way. I do think though that the fire res requirements especially for heat 3 might be a bit too high and require too much crafted gear that is extremely expensive to make which alienates a lot of people and promotes more RMT. It would also be interesting if there was a way to require resistance gear without being a 1 shot mechanic as well but honestly i do not know how they could do it. But best of all is that the heat levels are completely optional. There is no player power tied to them at all. This is a massive step away from retail design where you get better gear for harder difficulty raids/content and it creates a much more elitist environment that can be very gate keepy and unfun. If you don't want to get fire res gear then you don't have to, just play heat level 1 and get geared out in the same gear and enjoy the game.

mostly agree, GDKP does keep player retention thou. The reason ppl dont like it is bc blizz is bad at banning bots so GDKP becomes RMT. Also there needs to be more gear with defensive stats that balance offensive as I can get a peice of gear on it with Str, Agi, Crit, and AP all on the same peice while the armor and stamina are the only defensive stats that universally are applicable. So everytime in WoW PvP doesnt become about out play or responses or who knows their class and matchups better just who gets the jump and drops big numbers

I think what they're saying at the end is that after testing so many new runes for classes, they are going to clean it up a bit for next time. Maybe they don't want to go the rune direction again and just give us new baseline abilities (and/or changes to existing ones). I also hope a new classic + focus more on NEW CONTENT and not just existing places like the level up raids.
@@animalchin5082 Exactly, when there is enough damage going around that a healer needs to be constantly healing it feels terrible to ask the healer to do something else as their job is to heal people. When your in a situation where healers are no longer healing and have other things to do then you get into the territory of why even bring that healer as it would be way more efficient to replace them with another DPS that can do the job the healer would do while also making it faster/easier to clear the content.
its better than quests that can repeated 24/7 i'll tell you that. incursions were by far the worst idea blizzard has ever come up with for WoW. they admitted as much. the only better outcome would have been for them to delete incursions entirely.
I think the reason they aren't doing the whole 1 big boss arena thing is because we had a duo boss like that in BFA and everyone hated it, and barely anyone could do it because they were so hard.
Ive played both factions and I have to say…Hord players are less likely to bail. Ive always been on a PVP server being Horde but my guild went Alli for SoD which made it feel like a new game almost lol was a lot of fun tho bc of the new areas. Now i know territory a lot better 😂
They just need to have a buff for hp/mana based on nearby players. like within x distance if one faction has more playres the underdog side gets a stacking buff. so if massive outnumber thjey get big buffs.
bloodmoon death debuff was huuuge addiotion to brm event. it changed the run from 10 to 12 deaths running to BRD to just 2. saving at least 20-30 minutes just trying to make it to the dungeon.
warrior just feels so bad to play man, gotta press bloodrage + rampage + deathwish + on use trinket + bloodfury + recklessness before you can finally actually use bloodthirst for fresh meat. Oh, and all of those cds are on the gcd. So you have to wait like 8 globals before you can play the game.
Regularly when i do dailies, the area in the quarry, the bottom part where rogues can train lock picking, often is griefed by a big group of horde preventing ppl from doing their dailies. Turning the honor off inside the mountain would do nothing but basically broadcasts the dickheads in a neon light. Its not the honor they want, they just want to make your experience worse bc for some reason they cant have fun if you're having fun.
I see it as, since it's usually tight spaces down there, they're not killing just to greaf. 95% of them are killing for the mob tags. It's funny because on lonewolf I experience this from the alliance everyday as well. It's not a horde or alliance thing, it's just what some players do.

I think they could of done the difficulty different in MC. Speed runs - Countdown timer for extra loot chests that de-spawn after a set time. Vanilla raiders already did this as the hard mode and it takes prep on speed runs. I hate that I farm best gear and then have to put FR on. It is totally deflating and haven't raided since the first week. I just gank now, if its red its dead.

FR gear is strictly needed for heat 2 and heat 3 which are completely optional and have zero player power tied to them. If you don't want to do them then you don't have to and that means you do not need to get any FR gear. Just run heat 1 get your bis gear and have fun playing the game. Also timers are notoriously hated when forced on a community. The fun thing about speed running is that it is entirely regulated by the community and is not forced on anyone.
We are 4 phases into SoD. Anyone expecting huge changes is griefing themselves. I had low expectations going into SoD. When I found out they were creating content on the fly I knew there wouldn't be crazy new dungeons or raids. Its all recycled content and im fine with that. They didn't make me pay $60 for a new game. Its free with my sub that I was already paying. I have been happy with SoD because I understand that im not getting a brand new game for free. People complaining are people that would complain no matter what they got.
You basically paying 15$ just to play some vanilla pirate server on legion engine. Yet somehow its has more RMT and bots, then all greedy private servers combined.
make blackrock mountain 2 seperate layers, 1 pve orgiented and 1 pvp oriented during the event, when you zone there's a popup to choose what part you want to layer in to. Also people seem to look at warcraft logs and literally take 0 account in to what the class brings buffs ect. Granted i think a few classes need tweaking based on what they contribute to the raid. People also don't seem to understand that you can't really seperate pvp and pve like in retail due to the shared game with era. THere's alot to take in to consideration i don't see anyone take in to acount. If everyone is doing the same amount of dmg then why take anyone that doesnt have great buffs, ie why take a warrior or rogue when you can just take a shaman with totems.
Horde has bunch of 60 alliance has a bunch of 50 alts Lolol - horde has best racials and shamans lol … it is what it is. Should have opened up racials since they gave everyone free expertise.
@@readsnake don't feel too bad. there are other ring runes that benefit human. you can enjoy your sword/mace racials and simply use a spell hit rune (or even two) and/or the +25 defense skill rune on top of the human weapon skill racials. so in your case, as a paladin, you could use holy spell hit rune for 6% + 25 defense, and still benefit from sword/mace skill racial. dwarf can't do this. they need to choose a weapon skill rune + either 6% spell hit OR +25 defense. oh and btw. +defense works in pvp too. it provides block, parry and dodge + inherent miss chance/glancing blow chance - around 2% meaning that if you are facing up against an opponent who has 300/300 weapon skill, no weapon racial and no +hit% on gear, he will have a 2% chance to actually MISS hits on you. you're not very likely to run into anyone who don't have at least +2% hit or a weapon skill rune/racial, but just for the record, this is how defense works in classic. and lets not pretend perception doesn't exist ok? its a great racial, and if you had a clue how much horde rogues hate it, you'd appreciate it more.
It seems like people want Classic+ to just be classic with very little changes? I don't really get it, I don't think people even know what they want half the time. I've come to love SOD, if Classic+ is just a lesser version then, yeah, no thanks haha.

How about making BRM- a que. With auto balancing making players “faction less” so that it’s just even on both sides? One retail expansion gave you the option to fight for the other faction. At the end of the day I don’t think it’s really horde vs alliance anymore … is more PLAYER vs PLAYER experience just being better than another person and getting that kill /win … unless thats just me lol
Was definitely the case early. On my server it felt like the horde rushed to 60 just to camp people leveling in BRD and get the easy honor. But now it actually feels more Alliance heavy either the Horde are all rank 14 already or when Alliance started fighting back the Horde stopped camping idk.

Would love if they would freaking adjust alterac valley....its a mess. A ton of the mechanics are just bad. Like the titan sitting in center for 10 minutes after being summoned or the fact you can just kite the warmasters etc.

People sure are doing DFC but its HR this HR that, same shit other people want then only a couple bosses so yes i don't see many people doing it on Wild Growth. For the most part I think that pvps problems are the fan base that wants to keep the fantasy of being alliance vs horde. Without restricting populations there’s no way for the devs to fix it without completely eliminating racials and making your choice in race purely cosmetic

BRM Searing Gorge event needs a stacking debuff for each honorees kill you get which gives -5 to 10% stats

It seems like people want Classic+ to just be classic with very little changes? I don't really get it, I don't think people even know what they want half the time. I've come to love SOD, if Classic+ is just a lesser version then, yeah, no thanks haha.

How about making BRM- a que. With auto balancing making players “faction less” so that it’s just even on both sides? One retail expansion gave you the option to fight for the other faction. At the end of the day I don’t think it’s really horde vs alliance anymore … is more PLAYER vs PLAYER experience just being better than another person and getting that kill /win … unless thats just me lol

Was definitely the case early. On my server it felt like the horde rushed to 60 just to camp people leveling in BRD and get the easy honor. But now it actually feels more Alliance heavy either the Horde are all rank 14 already or when Alliance started fighting back the Horde stopped camping idk.

People sure are doing DFC but its HR this HR that, same shit other people want then only a couple bosses so yes i don't see many people doing it on Wild Growth. Gets sickening all this HR stuff when other people need it too. If everyone does their own HR there simply wont be enough groups and eventually it falls apart like I see it doing.

For the most part I think that pvps problems are the fan base that wants to keep the fantasy of being alliance vs horde. Without restricting populations there’s no way for the devs to fix it without completely eliminating racials and making your choice in race purely cosmetic
