Small things:
1) not all Darklords can close their domains, although most can.
2)his wife is not just another subservient mummy. The first night she came back she showed up in his bedroom and he was freaked out (understandably) and told her to leave and never return. So now she roams the desert occasionally destroying his mummy servants.
