Thank you Tawny. Am praying you are reading these 7 years later. Your story will be on our big screen tonight 6/22/23 at our CR - Southwest Church of Christ (Richmond VA.) A very courageous young lady you were. I pray you still are @ age 32 now. Such an important message many need to hear. Heartfelt and told with compassion. Hey - the day Jesus introduces you to the thousands of people you encouraged to be "goody-goods"...please remember to invite me! I pray and strive to go "where" I know you are going. With 20k views at present, I'd say its going to be about 20k folks. I suspect many will be precious young ladies. You will have helped all of them find ways to face their fears. Keep up the good work! [Ron C - CR Leader and "recovered" myself via CR]

Amazing story! God always has your back. CR is so important, it's a life line. Even if things are going good, still go to CR.

Thank you girl this helped me so much. I'm 65 years old and never ever made a comment before. I was you at 6 years old the game in alcoholic to try to shut it out. I believe God provided doctors and medication to help us. I would not be alive without them or have any hope. ITube became an advocate for mental health and people that don't know

Thank you for sharing this. It helped me today. I start a Step Study at Celebrate Recovery here in my town. I too have battled anxiety for years and years. Your openness is helping people find hope.

Thank you for sharing your testimony. I recently started going to a Steps Study at Celebrate Recovery at my church. I have battled anxiety from a young age, too. I still struggle with anxiety and have had panic attacks for the past three years. I have battled with depression, but God has been showing Himself victorious. Thank you so much for sharing your story. I identified so much.

Tawny, thank you so much for sharing your testimony. People with all kinds of mental illness including anxiety and depression are misunderstood by those of us who do not struggle with those things. Your testimony is being used greatly by God to open up our understanding about these issues in Celebrate Recovery. I hope a testimony will become available soon on youtube from someone who is struggling with chronic pain which is another highly misunderstood issue. Maybe it's already out their and I have not found it. Like you said in your testimony, so many people do not know what to say to people who are struggling with anxiety and depression or chronic pain so they end up saying things like, "It's all in your head" or "You just have to have more faith" which only makes matters worse. In the end, people abandon those who are struggling because they don"t know how to help them or simply stand by their side without trying to fix them. Thanks again.

That was truly amazing tawny, I can relate almost exactly to how you explained how debilitating the panic attacks are.. That's been the story of my life for the past 5, 6 years. I haven't had a life and what/who I did have in my life has slowly faded away over the years. God's got amazing things planned in your life that much I know, I believe when I finally get through my nightmare I will destined for something great just like you!

It is a nightmare- but there is hope. And ways to overcome. I still have days of struggle, but have come a long way in my journey. I would be happy to help you anytime you need. Please don't hesitate to reach out if you ever need someone to understand, and just listen. You are destined for greatness. And I know God is going to use you to help others. You don't have to wait to help. I've found helping others in my struggle was therapeutic for me. Find things you enjoy. Things you are passionate about, and do them. Your anxiety is not your identity. And it doesn't have to control you. I believe your victory is coming, and I will be praying you can feel his peace overflow you.

+Tawny Franklin I too go to CR in Rhode Island. I remember I started worrying at a very young age & was obsessed I was going to die. At the age of ten I was diagnosed with panic disorder. I was a broken little girl. I was petrified of going to school & became very depressed. I cried every night & felt so alone. Noone could understand what I was going through. It does run in my family though. I have since found a great church, started going to CR & have a personal relationship with Jesus. thank you so much for your courage. You have given me a lot of hope. God Bless!

+Kimberly Mantia I know exactly how you feel. It's not easy, but God continues to give me the strength I need, and surrounds me with people to help me get through hard days.
There is hope for us all, and I am glad to give some hope. You're not alone.
Sending you love & prayers. The lord is with us wherever we go!!

Hope you are doing OK these day. Sounds like you have a generational spirit of fear that you need to cast out. Tell it leave your mind, body and soul in Jesus name.
