Please recommend it to more people if you can so I can grow my channel :) Coming to your question: grade 3 is customer service agent, the 4 is senior 5 is supervisor 6 is officoe, 7 is manager 8 terminal manager and so on. 6 and above have grey uniforms, apartments ( or option to take the accommodation allowance and move out which is of course financially better) not sure about the salary but should be at least 10l qar a month. They get some kind of school fee allowance for kids and upgrade to business class etc.
Hey so the interviews are held in India but the jobs are in Qatar as that’s the base so most people are needed there. Ocassionally you will find vacancies in India but they are very rare with a lot of competition and the perks and salaries are not the same. As far as I know they have a slightly higher salary than qr ground staff but their ticket privilages are less. Only counted id 90s and 1 free ticket for themselves. I can’t exactly say about the buddy pass privileges with the new policies, if he has any. 😅😅

Hey so Hamad airport has a lot of lounges including HIA lounges where there are quiet rooms, food, shower and many other facilities. Most probably you would have to work either as reservation staff or at the entry point of the lounge and/or serve food to the customers at the lounge or assist them with things they need. If you have the vacancy then it would be mentioned in the roles and responsibilities. If you can share that I will try to go through that and elaborate more. :)
Hey so I had talked to one aircraft mechanic and he was living in the company accommodation. But the value for money was really good as usually people come to stay with the families and the company usually provides a good 2-3 bedroom appartment with furniture, electricity bill, water bill and all with saftey of living in the accommodation and nice locations with other amenities like gym, pool etc depending on the building and this was all for 3k so people prefer to stay in there. I am not so sure if they can move out on special request but even if you try to get a house outside it would cost more than this.😅😅

Hmm true that may be you could get a house for a little less than 5k and save that money. The guy I talked to was living by himself but still in the accommodation so I am not exactly sure if he did that out of his will or it’s not allowed to 😅
Hey so probably there’s no vacancy for ground staff open then you must either go through all the vacancies on the website and dont just get stuck on one job but keep checking for similar jobs:)

@ ohh no I don’t think so but you do get qatar airways discount in various restaurants in doha, clothing stores, even parlors etc. There are also some hotels all pver the world who have tie up with qr and so they give discounts.

Accommodation is provided but then you lose your housing allowance. Grades start from 3 and go up to 6 after which you move from operations but there are still grades as high as 13z For food you can eat while you are at work in the airport but that is 1 meal so when you are at home or aren’t working then you must cook or buy your own food. Hey! Here you go. 1- as per my knowledge you need to have a bachelors degree in order to apply for ground staff, even if you are in your final year that’s fine. But you can try for cabin crew may be cz they need only 12th. 2- No, you can stay with your family. You will get accommodation and transportation allowance so that’s better for you:) 3- you don’t have to pay for any training in fact they will pay you the whole salary from your training period. Hey so sorry for replying late. Yes you can apply from Doha. Yes they hire from there. There’s no issue with being a fresher as long as you meet the requirements. I would suggest you to wait for the hiring announcement in doha as cv drop is not a very good option. As you live in doha you must know a lot of people want to work in QR and thus they don’t really care much about the unsolicited CVs. Check on the website and apply and wait for your turn :) wish you good luck 👍
Yes unfortunately not emirates but they di have other partner airline like jet airways, air india, vistara, latam, lufthansa, singapore airlines, British airlines and so many more airlines. I don’t have the whole list now but you can book a staff ticket with other airlines that they are partners with. It’s only for the staff and close family members though not for buddy tickets. Emirates was a part pf this list before the incident with uae and qatar happened so not anymor! Hope this helps :)

Hey let’s start with a big congratulations 🎊🍾. About the work - so mostly in the lounges they have staff who is at the system to make sure only eligible customers enter there. Then you might have deal with customer queries such as departure time, lost and found etc. Staff also has to serve food and drinks. And make sure everything is orderly. That’s the gist but there are ofcourse more things to do like making reports etc in the back office, dealing with customer complaints and so on. Hope this clarified a little bit:)
I just want to ask the maximum limit of overtime we can do in the company..also wat is the maximum salary i can expect in the groud stafff position including the overtime...it will be very helpful information for me...plz respond dear..
Tbh overtime is not something that we choose to do. It usually only comes during eid and ramadaan sometimes during December because of Christmas and new year. In those months you might get 200-400 extra depending on how many overtime you did. But usually that’s not something that you choose. They will put you in the roster and you have to follow it. Hey I think one of the first requirements would be to learn german. I too am living in the Netherlands and facing the same situation 😅😅 and sometimes they might have requirements like you must have lived in the country for 8 years for background check (criminal record or so) so this depends on which company and in which country you are trying to apply. :) wish you all the best. I have to be honest with you, Qatar Airways doesn’t hire direct staff for Indian Airports only a couple that too on higher positions like supervisors, Duty officers etc so a staff you can’t directly apply for those positions as you are still a fresher. If you specifically only want to work for QR you have to check which ground handling agencies are doing QR flights. But they usually don’t give a good salary and no ticket benefits either. I would suggest you to check for indian airlines like indigo, jet, air india etc they will give you ticket benefits and all. Hope this helps. They usually provide a two bedroom huis with one master bedroom and one small one. So the master bedroom has aa attached washroom so that’s personal but the other room might not have one so the person might have to use the bathroom washroom outside which could be used by the other flatmate. But you can have that communication though that this is yours and this is mine and problem solved . Also with the new buildings they are trying to give personal wc to each room so it really depends on what you get.

Ohh yeah! As I had previously mentioned in my other videos, their hiring process duration is unpredictable anywhere from 2 months to 12 months. I know it takes a lot of patience but it would be worth it once you are through it!

No then you can stay with your husband if you are applying for ground crew or other airport positions. If you are applying for cabin crew (air hostesses) then you have to stay in the company accommodation regardless of your spouse’s situation

Mostly yes! Especially when I joined as a customer service agent then I was always either paid or they would allow me to go home sooner, so as to compensate for the extra time. And days like eid or Ramadan we would get double salary if we were working. Also planned overtime’s were always paid.

Hey so a lot of my close friends were in Al maha. They get single room but shared apartment. They also have to work at the airport in shifts, their uniform is a bit different though. They have blue skirt and jacket. It's nice working at Al Maha as well. They have to escort high profile customers or those who pay for the Al maha service. So dealing with people. I would like to know if transport is provided by the company or do employees pay for transport (transport from the company accommodation to work).
If you are in company accommodation company gives you transportation. It’s included.

So for ground staff on grade 3 they aren’t eligible for business class. But if they get promoted and reach grade 6 and above then they are.

What do you exactly mean by airport? If you mean duty free then yes they get 20% discount. If anything else then please let me knw.

Hey thank you for the feedback. Honestly though I wasn’t a cabin crew so I only the overall salary of crew ad some of them were my friends but not the whole structure or break down of the amount. I have to be honest with you, Qatar Airways doesn’t hire direct staff for Indian Airports only a couple that too on higher positions like supervisors, Duty officers etc so a staff you can’t directly apply for those positions as you are still a fresher.
If you specifically only want to work for QR you have to check which ground handling agencies are doing QR flights. But they usually don’t give a good salary and no ticket benefits either.
I would suggest you to check for indian airlines like indigo, jet, air india etc they will give you ticket benefits and all.

On Qatar Airways website there is no maximum age limit only minimum 21. It can depend on the airline though.

Hey for hostess Al maha do they shared bathroom for two girls ?
They usually provide a two bedroom huis with one master bedroom and one small one. So the master bedroom has aa attached washroom so that’s personal but the other room might not have one so the person might have to use the bathroom washroom outside which could be used by the other flatmate. But you can have that communication though that this is yours and this is mine and problem solved . Also with the new buildings they are trying to give personal wc to each room so it really depends on what you get.

Then in septembre it appear new application in Qatar Airways site state hostess Al maha service since then I didn't receive anything

Ohh yeah! As I had previously mentioned in my other videos, their hiring process duration is unpredictable anywhere from 2 months to 12 months. I know it takes a lot of patience but it would be worth it once you are through it!

If you are married and spouse is also working in Qatar with a resident permit, are you required to stay in the company accommodation?
No then you can stay with your husband if you are applying for ground crew or other airport positions. If you are applying for cabin crew (air hostesses) then you have to stay in the company accommodation regardless of your spouse’s situation

Did they pay for extra hours ?
Mostly yes! Especially when I joined as a customer service agent then I was always either paid or they would allow me to go home sooner, so as to compensate for the extra time.
And days like eid or Ramadan we would get double salary if we were working. Also planned overtime’s were always paid.

Hey so a lot of my close friends were in Al maha. They get single room but shared apartment. They also have to work at the airport in shifts, their uniform is a bit different though. They have blue skirt and jacket. It's nice working at Al Maha as well. They have to escort high profile customers or those who pay for the Al maha service. So dealing with people. Yeah even though they are also grade 3 like ground staff they get single room. Lucky😍

I joined with 3 then I was promoted to 5. I worked at 4 for almost 3 years and then resigned. I don’t work with them anymore:) Also they have kind of a strict policy over the information which is being shared on social media so I decided to start this channel only after resigning from the company. :)

No not really. Main is English, pleasing personality, approachable demeanor and you should be trainable for rest of the things.

Oh that's a good question! I did apply but I have a scar on my hand ( a stitch mark) which makes me ineligible for the position.

You earn in qatari riyal but you can send money home to any country from there. :)
In short, Qatar Airways package & benefits are trash 😄
Well I wouldn’t say it’s the best thing in the world. There are ofcourse better offers and options out there but for some people including me this was something that was almost like a dream come true. So to each their own 😊

Yes they will give you the visa, the ticket and accommodation and pick up from the airport😊
