Had to search on how to make better friends than the ones I currently got (Mainly coworkers), and I just been feeling alone for years now and I am 25. I am generally reserved, open for just about anything, very chill, have high functioning autism, usually nervous when I talk to some people, and including invitations (Except no one does that except for most others). I do not know why it seems hard to make friends, and those who I knew were just come and go, not to be seen in person again. 😔 I am someone who loves to travel, go out to places, have fun, really loves science, space, and video games (I play on the PS4). I was very saddened on my 25th birthday that no one wanted to go out bowling, and my other friend forgot about it and didn't realize it a month later. I ended up not going bowling, stayed the night home, ate takeout Chinese food and played cards with my parents. I just wondered if I am with the wrong people, what am I doing wrong, does anyone even like me the way I am, or cares? I was almost at the point where I might take the possibility of quitting my job in which is easy and pays good, but the surrounding social environment is another thing, and I feel less happy about it and am considering going back to school. I know that I'm not the only one here that is experiencing loneliness, and thought I'd share this. I'm looking to make real genuine friends. 🙂 Feel free to comment below! I do like reading them! 😊
