The reason they must be so strict with their costumes' quality standard is because the whole organization is allowed to exist thanks to a deal they took with lucasfilm back in the day that among it's many other restrictions like not being allowed to sell merchandise outside of the 501st stated that characters have to be portraied as accurately as possible. lowering their guard before was risky enough but doing so now could mean being sued into oblivion by disney.

I don’t get why the 501st and Mercs are so goddamn picky
MandoPrime1138 it’s called having standards. The 501 is the most popular cosplay group around the world. If you wanna join you have to have uniformity like a actual military. If not the system begins to degrade.
Antonio Glascoe When I applied for the Mercs I got rejected because I had a piece of armor that was from a guy who they didn’t like. They told me I had to buy stuff from them and only them. I didn’t even bother with that because it would’ve cost me thousands of dollars
They are idiots
because they are uber nerds that have no women and nothing better to do with their lives except pull out a microscope and examine every molecule.
Weng's Man for a charity group they sure make a lot of money off of each other as well
And a very nice uniform. I applaud your skill.
Just bought a phase 1!
Thanks for the update, and good luck! Love the new intro btw.
That looks like something from the movies, this is great.
That is the most beautiful clone "shocktrooper" coruscant gaurd armor I have ever seen.
Good luck man!
The Corusaunt Guard is the exact Skin I choose whenever I play as the Officer in BF2, nice. Though if I'm honest, I play as the Heavy far more often and I use the 501st Phase II for him. I definitely want to make the 501st Heavy Trooper cosplay, but I'm definitely no where near that level.
It looks awesome man! Cant wait for it to get approved
This is plain and simple one of the best thing I have seen. Incredible. Man, what is the clothing you use below the armor? I have seem your 3D models, and I always wondered what would I wear underneath it.
Thank you! I just wear long black under armor top and bottom
@@GalacticArmory Nice, makes total sense. One day I will try to make one like you! Keep up the good work man, and love the new logo!
Best of luck to ya bro!
Would love to see the mandalorian helmet.
Congrats brother!
Now try shouldering a blaster, and looking down it's sights also can you touch your toes?
not to be that guy but the grey center stripe isn't shaped right either, the dots need to be higher and the whole thing is more choked up towards the top
You're right I've had to change that as well. There will probably be a part 2 to this video 😂
@@GalacticArmory lol I thought I was going crazy for a second with no one else mentioning it. Really cool armor, dude!
Its cool the 501st pays so much attention to detail but as you said it's only minor details. I guess being thorough is a top priority for them.
I’d love to see a darth Vader suit.
Amazing job. Did you get approval since this video?
well that shit looks fucking amazing. like. jesus. that skill right there
Looks really good, but it would be even better if you wore a thicker undergarment.
That looks so sick! Have you trooped in it yet just in general? How does the PLA hold up?
Looks great, I'd love to make my own armor.
hey man, hope things are going good with the 501st. Best of luck! :^)
I would’ve just started or help get started an entire new costumed legion or battalion entirely revolving around the shock troopers/Coruscant Guard. The 501st doesn’t need to be the only major dress up group.
Honestly, the Coruscant Guard cosplay you have on now is WAYYYYYY better than the one in SWB2. (Star Wars Battlefront 2)
You make cool videos bro keep it up!
Incredible armor. Also, thanks for not being a total chonk like a lot of those dudes are. I wouldn't have even clicked if you where cuz that's just not asthaetic. As insensitive as it sounds, it's true. Stellar work!
Damn they are really specific
You should make one video doing you’re whole costume / prop collection id love to see that
If you don't mind me asking, did you go to school to learn these skills or did you just learn them naturally? Your works is great!
Just learned them as I went along, thank you!
Excellent work man. I'm really jealous.
A bit much on the 501st side but still pretty cool.
@@npc6817 ah I see, the 501st was also used in episodes 7 and 8 of the Mandalorian.
@@evildrporkchop4628 I just wish one of them had pointed out to the 2 actors portraying the Biker Scouts that the white cummerbund should go all the way up to the chest plate rather than hang low like a dirty diaper. Their characters got their just deserts for failing Imperial dress code :D
@@SirUlrichVL I think is symbolizes the fact that they aren't empire anymore no need to look uniform but I see why it bothered some but personally I'm ok with it.
The one armor set i want to build is going to be a challenge is the concept Jedi armor from the force unleashed.
Seems to have been going good. Have you heard back from them on this yet? I'm getting ready to start on a Death Watch armor set, though I'm still not certain which one.
Did they end up turning this into a phase two Thire in the reference library? Either way it’s cool to have watched this get built.
this guy could make a business selling high quality clone armor
I have recently found your channel, AND I LOVE IT!!!
I usually skip ads but when Ser Patrick Stewart has something to say... I just listen...
Can he Make the Actual 501st Armor Arc trooper version would be nice to see
Hi! Everything you do is really cool! Can I buy a collapsible helmet, and I have already painted and glued it myself?
Dude you should make armor for other people and sell them. Like damn dude. I would totally buy clone armor if you sell them. I visited the 501st website but i don’t know if you can buy armor. And if you can I don’t know how
Looks amazing
Well done brother.
Hey I really enjoy your videos, but what makes me think really hard ist the amount of time you have to use to fully print a helmet until you're finished with the painting and weathering process. As well as a rough overwiev to the costs.
A video about that would bei great.
You should make Mandalorian Helmets Like Bo Katans
You should make an clone armor phase 1 :) ! It should be great :)
Good luck my future brother.
From SL/TS 4142

Mos Nooga Squad
Looks like the 501st has higher canon standards than Disney. I applaud them, good luck.
I will be watching your channel with keen interest.
Bro that’s sick
Nice armor!!
Fun fact, I don’t need to be a part of a group to know that I love Star Wars
You should make the rangefinder be able to flip down
