its so rare for a 2 YEARS OLD group to have that kind of confidence on stage esp in this new generation. they sang real live not just breathing on their mics. I'm so proud of treasure! real artists and pure talents!
Not rare in YGE, the moment Big Bang or 2ne1 debuted people knew they were different. 2ne1 took down Gee off the charts with “Fire” ending SNSDs 9 straight wins on music shows. With the birth of Winner they saw the potential of magic in vocals they became the fastest boy group to win #1. IKON dominated and took EVERY Rookie award since Shinee in 2008 even earning Japanese and Chinese Rookie awards. Blackpink did well (although to my taste really lacking) Treasure for sure has learned to command the stage like their seniors.

There were 2 performances that awed me, Stray Kids with their great execution, and my Treasure babies because it felt like we went to MAMA together and I'm part of the performance too! If the non-fans say they woke up (not the exact term ) during Treasure's performance, I think we have a pretty good idea how engaging their performance was!

Due to some accidents, the korean dancers unable to fly to japan, and they have to prepare all that amazing performance with just 3 days, thats insane. NewJeans: Freshest performance, esp among so many standout new girl groups. j-hope: Most artistic performance - not easy for a solo performer to fill and dominate the whole stage, but he did it with ease. KARA: Almost made me cry - so good to see them again. Stray Kids: I can see their experience from Kingdom coming through in the way they used all corners of the stage and the story-telling.
Treasure really saved Mama this year, they truly performed cos they engaged the crowd! They did that in the middle of their japan tour, with 6 mins screentime, no back up dancers, 2 days of practice, and passion!
